Many media platforms have reported that Telegram and Toncoin (TON) Founder Pavel Durov was arrested in France on Saturday evening. Due to his failure to enforce necessary controls on the Telegram app, he faces numerous charges, including money laundering, terrorism, fraud, drug trafficking.. etc.

The price of Toncoin immediately suffered following the spread of this negative news, dropping by over -11% at the time of writing this topic.
