Maybe this is the catch, the free aspect and tip what you can style of marketing is what would work the best for OP because that means that the clients that OP's going to get will have the risk free thing to try the service, from what I've read about OP's work and weird way of getting paid, OP is getting some clients. Probably the only wrong move that I think OP should correct as soon as possible is to post the articles that OP has created, that way, you've got a portfolio that others can see and naturally, clients would flock to you if they find that you've got a good service. Maybe this is a foundation to whatever OP has plans in the future, maybe this is OP's way of establishing a client base, I think that might work.

Exactly what I was saying, what better way to beef up your portfolio especially in the arts and writing than doing it for free and then having those people that will require your service give you some form of reward like shout outs or recommendations, this is basically how some influencers get free stuff although this is abused, this is a really good way to get your product or service in the market most of the time and then when you have an established client base, then you can put a price tag.

How is this any different than paying AI to generate a post? 

1. Originality
Anyone can ask AI to generate a post or write articles and essays and most likely if you ask AI to create something of a particular topic then it will generate the same thing for more than one person. If someone has already used the AI generated piece before you had posted yours, you could be accused of plagiarism.
2. Credibility
AI just takes excerpts from pre-existing texts and incorporates them into one without any kind of paraphrasing or citation. When you are writing something, there should always be sources indicted on where you got your information from. Especially in OP's case where they are writing articles. AI just copy and paste basically the information it finds and offers no sources. This is another case of plagiarism and can decrease the writer and the paper's credibility
3. Creativity
AI is a robot hence why it also writes like one. Absolutely no creativity and only filled with extravagant words. Sometimes it even makes grammar mistakes. AI is not perfect and so are humans but humans can write better.

After checking on Copyscape, I see that your article is unique. You have to guarantee the uniqueness of your article, and you have at least one link that verifies that you have not used an AI to produce your article so your potential client will not think that you are using an AI to produce an article.
This is a good way to build your portfolio.

I don't get all this obsession with AI detection on copywriting articles. Back when I was writing for tips, nobody even brought up the subject.

Maybe it's because ChatGPT never existed but then again, it is very easy to tell if an article is written by ChatGPT or not, at least for those people who've been using ChatGPT at least once a week for other reasons. But it just doesn't sound human anyway when you read it in your head.
