DAZN promotes this fight but there were no highlights on YouTube that we can see, all we have are interviews of both fighters the only highlights we saw are coming from reviews of boxing media, this is such a huge upset nobody saw this coming, a unanimous win by Paro even Subriel do not have a complaint on the decision.

Subriel can still climb and become champion again but he needs to be more technical and add some movement so he will become an overall champion.

I could not find any highlights either, which is not good if you want to build the profile of this fighter who is in a division with some big names. I did hear some complaints of the referee being very biased, which does not surprise me because it’s the same referee that kept interfering in the Dubois vs. Usyk fight whenever Dubois had some momentum, and ultimately ruled that a borderline shot was actually a low blow and gave Usyk an eternity to recover.

Yeah I finally saw the fight and he is very convincing with his win, it's a humiliating gloss for Subriel but in his interview, he offered no excuses I'm sure he will be back, he now knows what's wrong with his style, it's not all about the power he also needs movements based on what I see Subriel is a very slow started and only picks up the fight after the 5th round this is not good, every round is important because even if you have the power you can't expect that all your opponents will yield to it if they have the skill to avoid it.

I wouldn't call that Matias is the most feared boxer at 140 lbs, the thing with him is that he is relatively unknown as compare to other champions like Teo, Haney and Pitbull Cruz and that's why they avoided him because there could be no money in that fight.

For Paro, we can understand that he is elated to upset and beat Matias, but it could a different game for him if he goes against the like of Teo and Devin Haney as we all know that this fighters are very much technical and has high boxing IQ than him.

Yeah, I watch that highlights and this is what I've noticed and it was a good strategy for the trainer of Paro,

a. Don't go overboard with his punch, just enough to touch Matias and at least feel the power
b. That upper cut that he throws was very effective as Matias is going with that shell defense of him
c. Hug and clinch if Matias is coming of if he has enough combination
d. Fight in the center of the ring
e. Paro has good chin, I was surprised, in round 3-4 Matias hit him, snap his head but his back to throw more

So again, they really have a lot of time to study Matias in this fight. There is no excuses that Matias can't throw in this fight, he did try at round 2 already. But it doesn't have any effect of Paro and then Paro just stick to his game plan for the rest of the fight. So kudos to his trainer for this great strategy and betting Matias in his own game at his own home court.

I guess that's really the style of Australian boxers. They like to brawl in the ring to tire their opponents, but they aren't really fast. They just rely on their power and stamina. So, let's see how far this current champion can go against the other champions in the same division. He called himself a captain; he must be underestimating the other champions.

Australian know also be known to be a brawler, but in any case, I do agree that they have a better plan that Matias. Subriel just come in flat footed and maybe thinking very confident since he is at home. He try many times in the fight to rally at some point, but Paro had answered to all of that and yes, the bread and butter uppercut keeps connecting on Matias and he had no answer once Paro will throw volume punches although it's not hurting Subriel.

Really hard to motivate him in the corner if he is not really letting his hands so and they just let Paro smothered him and then will go and hug and so Matias is at lost and he can't get anything.

That's going to be the obvious, he will go and try to reclaim his belt. However, I think Paro has gotten his numbers also and their could be some psyche war as well as Paro has beaten and dominated him. As per rating, Richardson Hitchins is the number 1 and could be the mandatory or the recent winner, Jack Catterall. I'll be more interested of Catterall vs Paro, as Jack could also been a champion as well if Taylor has rematch him with Josh had the belt.

Yes, it's definitely the crowds and the money, I dare say both of those things will be double than before, even though boxing is over and even though there are no official records of re-betting yet, but Liam Paro is already hinting at something.

Indeed, there has been no response from Subriel Matias, regarding Liam Paro's response, we will wait or react in the next few days/weeks from Subriel, whether he responds positively or negatively, but if re-betting is done in Australia, it will be more exciting in the boxing arena, but the chances of re-betting are slim.

Surprisingly Matias in his post-fight interview did not ask for a rematch, he just said that he was humiliated, he did not offer any excuse and promised would do better next time, based on what we all see it doesn't deserve a rematch although if there is a clause in the contract Paro is obliged to follow what's on the contract.

This is one of the rare times that we have seen a major upset that happens in the favorite fighter's hometown.
I still believe that Matias can work his way up again, it's different when you have knockout power, you can always deliver,  he just needs a good trainer, his being a pressure fighter is good, style makes a fight and Paro's style proved to be effective against a pressure fighter like Paro
