And don't forget that current framework for crypto regulations were accepted during 2019 when Trump was in office.
-cut-
I don't know any crypto investors who hate Trump and support Biden, but I thought you might know about the news that the Winklevoss twins donated $2 million to Mr. Trump's election campaign.
Do you think the first bitcoin investors were stupid to support Mr. Trump? Do you think they don't know what he did in the past with bitcoin? But why do they still support him and not Biden? They are investors from the US market and I believe they understand what is happening there better than us.

They also gave reasons why they supported Mr. Trump and not Biden on their X account, I think you should take the time to read to understand better why they decided to support Mr. Trump.
Just because people hate both parties, they might vote for lesser evil. And if you have at all read let's say r/cryptocurrency, or even this forum, there are lots of people loathing Trump. And i would say that in r/cryptocurrency, majority seems to NOT be on trump's side.

I also use reddit but not often, I know the r/cryptocurrency board has more than 8.2 million members but less than 1000 active members and there are also members who support Mr. Trump. Like bitcointalk, how many members do you think are from the US? Therefore, it can be said that the community at r/cryptocurrency and bitcointalk is not representative of the entire cryptocurrency industry or investors in the US. Meanwhile, it can be seen that top investors in the US are voting for Mr. Trump instead of the current administration.

In addition to the Winklevoss twins, recently Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Invest, also said she plans to vote for Mr. Trump because of the US economy. And yet, billionaire Mark Cuban also thinks that Trump can win against President Biden thanks to cryptocurrency.

Rich or poor, they only have 1 vote and can only support 1 person, what I care about is that their vision will certainly be different and from there will create a different economy. Why do we also want to be rich but think the rich people's choices are wrong?

I bet of those 1000 active members:

* 200 of them are US citizens

Of those 200 US citizens:

* 110 will vote for Biden regardless of his stance on crypto regulations

* 90 will vote for Trump regardless of his stance on crypto regulations

This election is easily the most consequential in US history, determining whether the USA will remain a democracy or not. People aren't going to vote on silly things like their perceived crypto values.

People like the ones you mentioned above were clearly already going to vote for Trump since they are probably afraid of being imprisoned etc. and know that Trump will pardon criminals who pay him enough.

This Winklevoss twins, grandma Cathie Wood and baldman Brian Armstrong are nothing if we are talking about their support for Trump. What we should be very concerning for the people in the cryptospace who do not like to vote for Trump is the support of the new mayor of bitcoin Larry Fink. Who is this man supporting, Trump or Biden?

However, it is mentioned in some articles that Larry Fink has been a supporter of the Democratic party. It is very uncommon for these people to change their support to another party. But if he is silent, this might be a signal that he is not very confident on Biden as a candidate to support bitcoin and the cryptospace.

It's politics, just because he said or implied he would support bitcoin, doesn't mean his stance has changed. this is more common for candidates when running for their 2nd term, it's like that's the pandering phase, because once they're elected there's nothing forcing them to deliver. And imo if governments did support crypto it would start receiving even more regulation. Imagine any government that has a strong economy supporting something that's harder to tax. Which if the us government did officially support it, i think if any that would be the time it hits 1m$ which would be great for investors. but if it was even more heavily regulated, it wouldn't be any different from PayPal, cash app, etc.  btc would lose what makes it special.

Trump seems desperate to gather votes. Especially when he also voiced his support for the oil industry. He wants to win no matter what. Typical of an average politician. What counts is what promises he keeps during his second term in office. IF he gets re-elected. We can't predict what will happen during Election Day.

Based on polls, it seems Trump has a leading margin over President Biden. What could stop Trump is if he's sentenced to prison by court. But the US constitution doesn't say anything about electing a convicted person. It is what it is. Regardless of who wins, nothing can stop Bitcoin from reaching new heights. Smiley

@Abiky. You might be mistaken hehehe. Did you watch the debate? After this, it very much appears that it is Biden who is presently very desperate on convincing the people to get more votes. The debate has shown that he not anymore qualified to run as the president of America.

I predict that within 3 months, the Democrats will use Biden's memory problems as an excuse to choose another candidate for their campaign. They might also declare that Biden should be replaced as president.

I predict that within 3 months, the Democrats will use Biden's memory problems as an excuse to choose another candidate for their campaign. They might also declare that Biden should be replaced as president.

After just one day, there were many rumors that the Democratic Party was considering finding a replacement for Mr. Biden after the debate with Mr. Trump. But as far as I know, that is impossible unless the Democratic Party can convince Mr. Biden to proactively give up the election and hand it over to someone else, but if he doesn't agree, there will be no other way.

In addition, there is another scenario of using the 25th Amendment to remove the president, and to do this requires the participation of the vice president and a majority of ministers in the cabinet.

In the latest news, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives called for consideration of removing President Biden from office by activating the 25th Amendment. I wouldn't be surprised if they do this, those who watched yesterday's debate will see that age is a huge issue for Mr. Biden.

I haven't even heard any rumors about Larry Fink supporting the democratic party because as far as I know there are many billionaires or influential people who don't publicly support anyone, they don't want anyone to have anything to do with politics. But one thing we need to admit is that in yesterday's debate, neither of them mentioned cryptocurrencies.
By the way, if he really supports the Democratic Party, I hope Mr. Larry Fink watched yesterday's debate and made a final decision  Cheesy Grin Cheesy.

In addition, according to some surveys, what American citizens care about most is prices, food prices, fuel prices, costs of buying or renting a house, crime...So votes from cryptocurrency cannot decide victory for anyone.

If they wanted to replace him, they would have done it long ago when the signs of mental and physical deterioration became apparent. Long before United States became the laughing stock of the world specially when the al-Saud dictators who owe their very existence to US, started mocking him Cheesy
