I think the latest update was that MM was seeking funding and close to securing some.

millions? where does millions come from? did you give some millions? You know KORE didn't make an ICO?
All dev funds (or at least most of it) come from MM's pocket

Yes there was a swap over to a new chain a couple years ago, best place to ask for help is the discord.

Hey guys MX here, team member, go doer from the team and one of the creative minds behind the project, first of all I would like to apologize for not coming here sooner to perhaps say something as I was lurking here now and then and I really enjoyed talking with all of you, but I was depressed for a long time, and remained silent after all that happened over a long period of time including the old kore code hack, losing bittrex, falling into a honey pot and specialy for not fullfilling at least for now all that was promised and for not having the funds and means to at least keep the chain running.

Some negative forces were behind some attacks the team suffered in many ways and many fronts until we were basically shutdown, and I fell into a honey trap which basically costed all my hard earned salary by working for MikeMike, my car, all my crypto from before/after, full sanity and almost costed my life too believe it or not, now I work in an acrylics factory from a friend of mine here in Brazil from 7 to 5 and make like 600 usd per month(Brazil is not for amateurs) and still dont have a car, have lots of debt and child support to pay.(Mcdonalds meme)

The project was and is real because what is behind it is an ideology of freedom of speech, full privacy, of being in control of your data, the coins were just the means of making it work as we where working on something which was basically tor, bitcoin, masternodes, signal and bitcoin lightning network tecnology all combined to make something really cool and inovative for truly private and secure communications app(msgs and videos)

The project had many more features and resources in the works some know and some were secret yet to be revealed(probably the best part)

Since such a long time have passed someway somehow another project got pretty close to part of our project and that project name now is OXEN, I do not believe we had information leaked or hacked from team members but you never know, perhaps someone just had almost the same idea, so if you wanna see what part of the project was I guess check those guys, they did not do the full concept of ours but it got very close into the messaging app part, masternodes, signal based server and tor sub routing, they are probably the best comms app out there right now

Another project that have similar ideas and concepts from kore planned future upgrades that have previous past team members involved and old ideas from MikeMike is Qortal, I guess if anyone would like to imagine what we were working on is to combine the best parts of OXEN, best parts of Qortal and our special Kore sauce.

I have been down for a long time, and im probably a little rusty but if anyone would like to help bring the project back to life and be fullfiled at least to the point the community takes over, I'm up for fighting for that and can help, I know what needs to be done to revive the chain, for me its about the technology and bringing something really cool for people to enjoy and that can help mankind fight the Deep State.

I have access to the the Kore dev funds wallet and I have quite a lot of Kore myself, so if any investor steps in we can pay back in Kore in the future for sure if all goes well this time, I have been trying to reach MikeMike but without success so since he is absent I would take over temporarely if this happens or until the community takes over and does not need me anymore

All of what was said reflects my personal opinion and mind.
