We can't say really what OP meant, however, I do agree with you that memes are a highly speculative asset that cannot be considered going long-term. It's a very high risk with no rewards ( a big chance of that).

This is true, there are a lot of memecoins which got attention over shiba these days and this is why shiba is losing some power. However, people should realize what's happening to shiba could happen to other memes as well, and may not even go as high as shiba did, so there is no reason to invest into other stuff neither, and there is no reason to invest into shiba neither.
