The recent case of ponzi that happened in my country recently CBex an international ponzi scheme that went away with billions of naira worth of Ethereum, this hit my century people hard, they even have sec certification and inti graft agency approval but yet a ponzi.

This is how far scammers have advanced, but this case is an elementary ponzi scheme, and the scammers look really dumb only careless victims will fall for this scam.

You are overestimating the average crypto newcomer.

Many of them only keep hearing stories about how certain people got rich quickly, and this creates the impression that Bitcoin (and cryptocurrencies in general) is some sort of magical money. Because of this mindset, even the most basic and obvious scams can appear completely legitimate to them

this scammer probably learned about ponzi schemes last week and thought... hey, i can do that.

if people were truly wise, we wouldn't still have ponzi/pyramid schemes going around today when a simple google search (or asking chatgpt nowadays) would show anyone it's a scam.

OP, you may want to avoid making the scam site’s domain clickable so they don’t gain a backlink from the forum. Also, any sites that offer such high percentages or guaranteed investment doubling in a short period are clearly scams. Therefore, everyone should do their research and not be an easy target for scammers..

Thank you for sharing this good news. I have indeed received an email notification that the domain has been suspended, I also noticed that the scammer's account has been banned.. I am always glad to cooperate with you on reports to keep the crypto community free of scams and I hope every member will do the same to protect beginners.

As for your question, you are right: fraud in general is not moderated, and suspicious threads are not deleted, and the decision rests with members to conduct their own research. However, in cases of clear fraud or Ponzi schemes with solid evidence, as in your thread, the moderators reviews the report and removes the thread.
