A lender like shasan not responding is not good?

I have been a borrower of Shasan Lending for over a year now. Throughout this time, I have consistently met all my financial obligations, including paying the interest as agreed and repaying the loans on time. Whenever I encountered issues or needed an extension on my loan, I always engaged in open and transparent discussions with the lender via Telegram.

However, recently, I have noticed a concerning change in the lender's behavior. I can vividly recall the initial conversations we had when I first sought the loan, and I'm now confronted with a situation that seems contrary to what I have come to expect.

What strikes me as noteworthy is the lender's sudden absence from the forum. Given the substantial number of loan accounts he manages, his lack of activity raises red flags for me. While I acknowledge that it might be premature to conclude, his two-day absence from the forum is quite unusual. Considering the current turbulent situation in Bangladesh following the forceful removal of the Prime Minister by the new government, I sincerely hope that he is safe and well.

What I am finding intresting is that the guy is now not active in the forum. Which is my concern because as a lender who has so many loaned account he should be always active. I might be assuming to early here but he hasn't been active within the forum for the last two days.

Two days of no activity in the forum is not terrible.

As a lender, shasan will have to worry if his customers go inactive for several months, no response to his PMs for loan expiration and repayment. I know that shasan has good patience to wait for several months, or about 1 year, before making a scam accusation on his customer.

He maybe has other things to do beyond the forum, and as said, two days is not quite long time to worry.

I am hoping he is okay as Bangladesh is now going through the worst than expected after the PM was removed forcefully by the now government.

I hope he is ok and the democracy revolution in Bangladesh will succeed and bring better government, policies, life quality and human rights for locals.

My best guess is that he has some other things taking his time which could be personal needs or family. He ĥas more at stake in the forum so if there is anyone that ought to be active, he should be the one. I don't think using the word "red flag" is appropriate because such words are used in expressing distrust and for this case, the issue of trust is not involve given that he is the lender and base on what you have narrated, unless there other things you did not feel comfortable adding to your post.

I believe he will come online and get things resolved soon so no need for panics.

It is just two days, not 2 weeks or 2 months. Probably he has some things he is doing. There are sometimes that you will not be able to visit the forum. Even this can happen to people that are in signature campaign. I think there are people that still owe him money, he can not just decide to leave this forum just like this.

There's no red flag in this case because most of those loans were non-collateral loans and he doesn't owe money to anyone so if he goes down with it then he was the one who will be losing money not the other way round (just pointing out).

Two days is not that long to be concerned about either so better be wait for two weeks at least before concluding anything also what's the political status right there now, is there anything alarming?

I agree, I hope Shasan is ok, there are many reasons why he cannot go online, and we can only get the answers once he is back online, Shasan's business is risky for him because of the outstanding loans coming from the many members of this forum.
I hope he can contact anyone here so we can have an update, just like what happened to A.B. Royse, who is able to find a way to contact a few members of the forum to update his situation, because of the loss of internet in their country.

Engagement can make you to be offline for some days, especially we that involve in a country politics, if you're a politician you be attending several meetings, which I don't know if he engage in politics, it maybe that he went for vacation, but two days of him been absent is not that much to quantify this post, the thing I will say is that op you care for him and that's why you notice his absent in the forum, but we need to be worried about him when is up to seven days or more than seven days and he is not back or be online, it's when you will know that something is wrong elsewhere, but I believe that it maybe family issues or political involvement or other offline business can make him not be online for two periods of him been absent.

I don't think it is good to raise an alarm just after a short period of inactivity, i know the user is a popular lender on the forum, but even at that, i think we should respect people's privacy, he might be away from the forum for really important reasons and i don't think it would be nice for him to return to meet this, at least that is what i think. If you have unfinished business with the user, just give him sometime to return.

Shasan was lonline literally two days ago, so I don't know what you are talking about.
And  any''concerning'' behavior was maybe caused by greatly increased number of people who scammed him recently and stole coins from him.
Just examine history of posts in Scam Accusation board and you would see a lot of Shasan topics created in last few months.

A couple of days should not raise any alarm. We all have some other life outside this forum. Maybe there are some issues he is trying to sort out and won't have enough time to visit the forum. Recently, I was off the forum for about a week for a couple of times due to unavoidable circumstances.

If the fact that he hasn't been online for a couple days is your only worry, you really don't have many worries. Not sure what other behaviors you are referring to, but I haven't seen any peculiar activity from shasan lately. Maybe they had an emergency, or maybe taking a break from the forum since they've lost so much from lending in the past year. Whatever the reason be, no need for a thread unless a few weeks goes by with no communication IMO.

Why is it a red flag for you?.. its been three days now I hope and pray he is okay. Things like this happen, from being cut off of the internet to travelling and having no access to any device, I also experienced that for 4 days.
I do have a loan, but since I have his address for payback, I'm looking forward to paying Shasan whether he logs in or not.

Recently shasan himself stated that at that moment he has over $27k in active 80+ loans. One part of it will surely be defaulted. If he were to go offline for a long period, for some it could be a good excuse for not paying the debt.

A similar thing happened with Darkstar_, who was also absent for a long time, so he appeared only for a short time to contact debtors and go offline again.

What are you talking about and what is the problem, @shasan's Bitcointalk account being inactive for a week or more is not the first thing, last month he was also inactive for a week, not a problem for him.

Today @shasan's telegram is active, he is fine.


I communicated with him when he was inactive in the past, I did it on Telegram, he said he was very busy lately, so Telegram can still be relied on for now, if the account on Bitcointalk is not active.

As far as I know, @shasan is not alone in managing loan money, he has a team that controls the funds spread here.

Neither I am looking for an extension nor I am looking to pay only the interest. I am concern because I have been an early borrower and I have never seen him not responding when someone has paid the discussed weekly or monthly amount or paid off the full payment with such a delay. I have recently made a payment as agreed with him of $65 weekly towards my existing loan. But, he has not updated my neutral tag or has replied to my reply on his thread.

It is concerning for me as a borrower as I think he might have come into some kind of situation due to the unrest in his country. I pray that he is okay and hope to see a reply before the week ends as I have to make another repayment.
