I didn't find enough resources to confirm whether WLFI is actually owned by the Trump family or not. The thing that crosses my mind is that this is just politically motivated. I don't know if this will have an impact on society or even be sustainable if he doesn't get elected, but we know about Trump's drastic change in views on crypto lately.

Pay attention to politically sensitive projects because affiliation to a political party does not guarantee the effectiveness and sustainability of such a project. The impact of such a project can be incredible, especially if success is tied to political outcomes. Or if the evolving view of Trump on cryptocurrency affects its future? Feasibility studies need to look to basics like commercial viability. technological advancement, and potential for using instead of relying on mere political connections. It is actually by his children, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, not Donald Trump himself. I don’t know why they didn’t just make Donald Trump the very owner/creator but I guess he just isn’t cut out for handling a project like this. Even though this definitely helps their father’s political agenda, I don’t think it’s completely political. They are approaching this as a business project not a political one.

Like I said, it seems to be a business so even if Trump doesn’t win the election I am sure the project will still continue especially if it becomes a real success.

I don't think much about that project because there is many projects out there that will be more capable to be a big project. Maybe they want to show to public that they support crypto and launch their own project to attract the public attention to support them. Maybe that is just politically motivated which is usually happen in the election and besides that, crypto has get more popularity so they want to gain more support from people who involve in crypto.

If they do that because they are really want to supports crypto, people who involved in crypto will see their intention and will really supports it. But if not, they will not wants to do anything and will lets the project search for its popularity from the other people.

To be honest, I don't really know much about that WLFI project or what it's all about.  Haven't looked into it yet.  Hard to predict if some new project like that could actually take off and stick around, specially when it seems tied to politics and one guy's future.  But maybe worth watching? If the whole Trump family crew is in on it it could be some kinda strategic play on their part. and  Then again, might just be more politics-motivated nonsense without anything solid behind it.  I figure they got the cash to put where their mouths are if they want, so that helps.  Still, who the heck knows if it'll go anywhere or just fizzle out.  Guess we'll see.

Bringing a topic for us to discuss is not giving direct promotion to the project and I don't think trump is involved in this project and they're just rumors although his involvement won't had influence my decision to invest or not because people do not influence me to invest into an altcoin. I'll do my research on the project, teams and everything involving that I can get my hands on before I decide if I was going to invest or not but just looking at the project, I don't find it attractive to me to investigate further. I don't like projects that are launched because of celebrities or political figures, cryptocurrency projects should be independent to make them survive on their own without the influence of the public figure. With a public figure, investors might be investing just because of that figure and when they're no more, the project can't stand on its own because it was depending on the public figure previously.

Because of the last fact I mentioned in the OP, the general assumption would be that way (at first). But you are right that we should look at it from a wider perspective, especially if the article presented by @Reatim is true. Maybe Trump really changed his anti-crypto stance because his children are starting to get interested in the crypto business and they need support from their father.

Whenever I see content like this, I tend to lose interest right away. Sorry, but when it involves politicians and a project, it often feels like it won’t lead to anything good, as it might just get hyped up without proper implementation.

Maybe it's also just timing, with the elections coming up soon, and this could be a strategy to win over voters. I hope I’m wrong, but that’s really the doubt I have about it.

all this things will make much sense to me after the conclusion of the election but for now, a lot of this things looks more like strategy that's just politically motivated to get the attention of the voters from the crypto niche.

A lot of the project I've seen from influencial figures are mostly for the hypes and most of them don't do too well on the long bases. I'm not sure if trump or trump jnr had a prio interest in crypto that would have been the reason for embarking of creating a project. If he's not a crypto enthusiast, it's likely that he lacks what it takes to handle a successful project and if he doesn't build it around a good team, such might only get attention because figure behind it but wouldn't stand the test of time in the real sense.

Didn't knew it was from his children as well. If its from prominent people and highly likely to be president kids than there is surely going to be a good hype around the project. Don't matter if its success or not, crypto market is 90% speculations.
I'd be looking at it and invest if it has some form of token as more people know about this, more would be attracted towards increasing its price. I currently don't have any amount to invest on but it would likely be my investment when I have redeemd some of my airdrops.
