What's the most rewarding trading competition you've participated in this year? I saw a post on X about someone earning around $30k cumulatively from trading competitions—including launchpools, bounties, etc.—and it's honestly impressive. I didn’t get anywhere near that this year, but next year we go harder.

Slowly we'll get there. Hopefully, I get to participate in more competitions like the Crazy 48hrs series I’ve been keeping up with. The volume requirements are easy, which is perfect for retail traders like myself. In this current phase crazy48h, I’m trading $BGB to earn $BGB, and I’m currently around 72 on the leaderboard. Let’s see if I can climb higher before tomorrow.

Bounties are not so profitable as it used to be, according to what we have Read, there where some bounty hunters that earn even around $100,000 in one bounty, some members of this forum can attest to that fact, but in recent time, most altcoins projects have become scams and alot of pump and dump memecions in the market this made the entire bounty section to become a waste of time, exchange launchpools any ways ll that I can tell you is to study the risk very well to avoid jumping on the wrong coin.

If you combine all of them, you could maximize profits but you might still not be very profitable because luck is what can also make you to be very profitable in all this activities, I will explain why u mentioned luck.

Talking about bounties, I know you are referring to the promotion of some projects and these are majorly altcoin projects which the success of most altcoin projects now depends on probability, it's possible you can do bounty campaign for more than a dozen projects and only 1 or 2 will pay you, even after they pay, the price of the token will not still give you any great profit, that's why I said it's based on luck to be profitable.

Trading competition usually have so many participants, the example is the one you are currently participating on which you said you are on the top 72 leaderboard, you are require to keep increasing your volume in order to be ahead, while you are competing against other big fish, it's luck that can make you win.

Trading competitions are just promotional stunt by exchanges and they will easily manipulate with insiders to trap you. You are around 72 when writing this, I bet that you can never enter into top 10. They host these competitions to earn and not for losing through the rewards. A competitions may be real only when it is hosted by reputed exchange and very rarely. A weekly or monthly competitions are just business models of exchanges to extract trading fees from you by triggering to hunt for volume.

Bounties may pay you but you need to double confirm that the rewards are worth your time and effort. You may participate to kill your boredom when you do not bother about how much the rewards from the bounties.

I read that some exchanges are sharing their revenue from listing a new coin or token. If it is true, you may keep checking such exchanges' launchpool programs, otherwise just for new trading pairs, I am not still interested on launchpool/launchpads.

Launchpool and trading competition are mainly for high income traders, I know it's profitable but it's for the rich, requirements always that, trader be grabbing large quantity of bgb before qualifying for launchpool or competition and tradesl higher before getting returns.

It's for the big boys I think.

In short, for wealthy or middle-class investors only. That’s also one reason why I don’t really participate in those much, because the competition there is about who can invest more assets.
That’s why I prefer to just buy in spot trading and then trade according to the skills I know here.

I’m not really aiming for quick, huge profits either it’s fine if progress is slow, as long as what’s important is moving forward in gaining crypto profits in this industry. Also, bounties these days can hardly be considered profitable anymore; I barely see anyone earning a significant amount from bounties.

$100k in one bounty is crazy but I doubt it happened for real. Maybe if we remove 1 zero on it, then that is still possible but they are likely doing other forms of bounties too like social media, translation, blog, Youtube, and so on.. to have a total of that amount. You forgot to mention 'competitions' there in your post but all three of them requires studying.

In trading competition, the risk is not only about the coin because even if we pick a good coin but if we don't know how to trade well and take advantage of different market situations, then we can still get left behind by other traders that are performing better than us. Still, it is not that bad if there is no fee to join it and we might still be earning a few profits if the coin that we are trading is coming from us.

Back then in 2022 this was a reality though so I won't rule it out. The only trading competition I'm keeping up with is crazy48hr. Phase 7 is live rn. For about 10 BGB from the last phase, without doing too much. Probably I'll get more this time.. you may want to join me though.

Good luck to you this time, I may not be taking part in that phase because I haven't included it in my trading account this season, may be if there is another phase of the competition in the future, I will make plans for that phase but for now I wish you all the luck you can get on this one, launch pool on exchange is becoming the new bounty in the market for those that can analyze the market pretty well.

I had joined Binance $3M+ prize pool competition events, that was really good but not much profitable for small trader. But yeah I also have seen that Bitget organizes 48 hour trading challenges for smaller trader. I have noticed that they set the volume requirements very carefully so that not only large investors but also small traders can profit. I previously participated in crazy 48 hour, which gave medium volume traders the opportunity to climb the leaderboard and potentially earn up to 300 BGB by trading at the right time.  Not just Bitget  but crypto trading competitions and tournaments are now an important engagement tool for most exchanges. In most cases  these competitions are primarily volume based challenge, where a good trader could  earn many native token reward, such as BNB or BGB, etc  based on their leaderboard ranking or total trading volume
