In this current age and Time, it has become extremely hard to keep kids away from something that is widely done like gambling we just have to educate the kids on the fact about gambling and how hard it is to get out of gambling once you become huck to it, and to avoid that kid's needs not to be greedy and should not stake money on games unless if  the regular computer games.

for me, kids are supposed to be keep away from gambling so that they will not noticed what's gambling at early stage because if children noticed what's gambling at the early stages that will make them to learn how to steal and you will be having a missing funds in your home, and any child that started early to look how to make money doesn't concentrate to the aspects their parents keep them

In today's era, the influence of the external environment and friends is making teenagers more addicted to gambling. Nowadays, teenagers get involved in things like gambling because of their friends, even if the parents do not do anything like that directly, due to the external environment and careless society, this gambling tendency spreads among teenagers.
I see in our society, where many young boys are gambling, but no one is stopping them in any way, it can be said that, this has become a normal thing in today's society. Many teenagers get involved in places like gambling after seeing their friends. All parents will definitely prevent their children from seeing things that should not be like gambling, but the reality is that they themselves will know it when they already know the outside world besides that it is also impossible for them not to know the outside world because they will also develop by themselves such as having outside relationships that can determine themselves, parental supervision can be done even though they already know the outside world but that will not completely close them from not knowing gambling by themselves. if as a parent your children have not seen you do certain things, even if everyone in the environment does that same thing, it will take a lot of conviction and persuasion before you teenage child will go into that. depending on the kind of environment you live in and how much freedom you give to your child, you can for a start tell him the danger that is associated to gambling at an early age and discourage him from indulging in what he does not have the financial means of sustaining for the long term. the reality remains that regardless of what you tell them, when it gets to that age where they start to explore things, there is going to be little you can do about it but while they are still young and under your watch, you can even be as strict as possible and ensure that you discourage them from gambling at all.

for some of us that are of an African descent where parents have the complete right of disciplining their children to whatever level they want to, as a parent, you can be very strict with them and discipline them if you ever see them gambling. that is what real parenting is all about, by the time you have trained them that way, when they grow up and on their own decide to gamble, it will reduce how vulnerable they are to gambling since they already have some infornation on the negative side of gambling.

I think the only thing parents can do is anticipate, always give direction to be good at choosing friends, because the main factor is the environment. Gambling is increasingly widespread because of easy access, so parents must monitor their children's activities both at home and outside the home as often as possible, so that we can anticipate early on.

If you are a parent who truly cares about your child's daily life and future, you will always have a way to help your child stay away from social evils or things that are not age-appropriate. Because it is our responsibility and duty as parents, not anyone else's. If our children unfortunately get to know gambling and become addicted to it, don't blame the environment or the development of technology, it's our fault. Because we have not been strict in teaching and managing our children.

I don't know if you have a family and children but for me, with the development of technology and always arranging time to take care of my family life. I hardly have too much difficulty in teaching and managing my child, I do not find things as difficult as many people complain.

 Well, children can actually learn from anywhere, from anyone and from anything they see, they don't only get exposed to gambling from their parents but as a parent that is already aware of all this risk, they need to keep their children in check all the time, they need to establish a good relationship with their kids so that those kids can easily and freely share their interest about something, perhaps something that they learned newly outside home. As a parent too, you should know the kind of environmental that is good to raise your kids and the places or school you take your kids to.

From most of the ideas I think limiting a child's accessibility is indeed the best and most effective idea to prevent them from exposure to gambling, especially promotions spread on the internet or social media, on the other hand, yes I understand that the government should also intervene in this matter, but yes, especially in my country, the government has indeed implemented new regulations and also always conducts surveys to the community with the aim of reducing the population level of gambling exposure to a child who is still a minor but in the end it does not produce any positive impact, meaning that gambling exposure is still ongoing and even getting crazier and that means it is true as you said that we as parents should take action, namely by limiting a child's accessibility in terms of using a smartphone, none other than because only parents have full access to monitor and regulate a child's activities.

When I was teenager my friends liked to bet a lot and there was no control of age in betting shops, even though formally you had to have 18 years to bet. All of them have grown up in normal people. There is no problem in bettong but there is problem if ot runs out of control.

If someone have affinity for gambling they need to be protected being teenager or not. If it goes out of control it can escalate in mental illness and ruin one's life.

One of the reasons why gambling is not recommended for a minor or one of the reasons why a child under the age of 18 is prohibited from being involved in gambling is because the majority of them are children who are still very unstable and also in terms of thinking they are usually very careless in every time they draw conclusions and also of course in terms of self-control and emotions are still very difficult for them, and if for example it is true as you said that your child and some of your friends did not experience any problems and negative impacts from gambling when you were a minor then of course that's good, it means you already know about how to gamble properly and correctly.

Basically, yes, I understand that this is not just about teenagers or minors, caution and vigilance apply to all gamblers regardless of their age, because it is not uncommon for me to see adults involved in gambling and eventually addicted, the point is to always maintain awareness and use your common sense before making a decision.
