Surprised there’s not more love for Satori Chips

I know they were mass produced, but such a cool design… wonder how many will remain unpeeled by 2030

We all know that 0.1 or 0.01 BTC in the long run will represent a significant amount of money (in dollars). What do you think could be a coin with incredible value in the future?

Its a balance IMO, if the FIAT value voes too high it becomes risky to physically
move it and could end up swiping the load and selling the coin.

There are so many coins out there which are going to fetch handsome premiums,
they have all been mentioned. Things are different now from when Casascius
started. I think a lot will be determined by the load in combination with the mintage
along with condition and grading

Plus I read somewhere on Bitcointalk that quite a lot had been seized by the japanese govt (about 30k if I recall correctly), so it's probably a bit "rarer" than we think?

I am a collector of gold and silver coins and what I have observed (especially in silver) over the years is that small mintages do not mean higher profits in the future (the spot price is very expensive and difficult to recover) unless they are first mintages.

A silly example, I was in London a few weeks ago.... The Elizabeth II, £1 1983 (The first) Piedfort Silver Proof was £100 but a 1988 was £40.

A Denarium or a Lealana, no matter how nice they are, will never be able to compete with a rusty Casascius.

I often wonder... what is going to be worth more, a 2018 Denarium or the bitcoin I'm going to pay for it? That doesn't happen to me with a Casascius.

The important thing will really be the historical value they have.

The second place is the first loser.

  Thanks for the update!  Will read that post and if you find any more information please let us all know. It will make our Satori a bit more rarer
