You were lucky it didn't fall into the hands of intruders... If you're living in a building that doesn't have tight security, I'd recommend investing in furniture that comes with hidden safes or drawers.

You mean for my hardware wallets or for hiding ourselves in there?

I was referring to your HWs, but there are plenty of other options for building hidden rooms as well.

Haha, I think these weapons (clubs with nails) exist only in Silent Hill 2 (if you know the video-game).
I have heard of the game but never played it. Anyways, that's not where I got the idea from. I read a crime novel based in 1950's LA where the mob used such customized billy clubs against their enemies and competitors. It seemed like a great idea. A billy club is basically a police baton. If it can be modified with razor blades, why not nails. Grin Silent Hill seems to be proof of that.

// edit: I am giving you one merit man, I can't look at this "7776".  Tongue
Oh, so you are the one who caused that. Thanks

Sorry for the off-topic reply.

I am afraid of giving away information, but I 've seen a great hiding spot inside a door. I mean literally inside the wooden door, using a secret drawer that is push-to-open.
That's not something I 've done or tried because I am lazy, but it's good.

I think I know what video you are talking about. It's an excellent little trick. You are essentially hiding something in plain sight but in a place no one will think to look. If we are talking about the same video, then it's not a push-to-open mechanism that reveals the secret. You remove the hidden compartment/tube with the help of a magnet.

It mustn't be the same video but I hear it as a variation of the one I 've seen.
Lots of great ideas, but the tricky part is that you should know how to do them on your one, otherwise there will always be someone knowing about the hiding spot.

BTW, I found a few more videos for the opening post
Thanks for posting the links.
I added them to first post but I didn't have time to watch all videos to check if I already listed some of them.

Let's keep conversation on topic please.
We are not talking about hiding places for hardware wallets in this topic Wink
