Forum's "Latest Bitcoin Core release" version isn't up to date

The latest is 28.1, since two months ago.

There are two links. The link to the torrent is not what is updated, but if you click on the link on the version number even though it hasn't changed yet takes you up to the download page (https://bitcoincore.org/en/download/) that shows you the latest release of the software. So, I guess the delayed change of the information to the latest version shouldn't get us so worried

Good finding but remember that Bitcoin is a decentralized project and there is no official website for it, the Bitcoin forum is not too.

Of course, finding the latest version is easy, and it's not through the forum.

Just thought, best keep it current if it's indicated here at all.
It's surprising it's not automated, but if so, and if the manual updating isn't quick or guaranteed, might be best to just remove the version "news" from the forum toolbar.
