Seems like every day there is a new piece of news about the wnba. Tonight it is that during the GSV ATL game, a fan threw a dildo on the court during the game. It didn’t immediately stop play but they did halt the game after the play ended for security to track down the fan and escort them out. Crazy…

A second dildo has been thrown onto the floor of a wnba game. Same color and everything… Last time it was during a GSV vs ATL game and this time it was a GSV vs CHI game. GSV being a team during both incidents has me wondering if the dildo thrower is the same individual. The game was in Chicago though, so that would mean someone is traveling around the country with the team throwing dildos.

You really can't make those things up. Finally we get some sort of entertainment from this league, that's great. WNBA stays relevant, at least in a comedic direction.

Anyway, the Indiana Fever is now on their 5th winning streak after defeating the Seattle Storm 78-74.

Now, there's still no Caitlin Clark due to a groin injury, and they are saying it's a blessing in disguise. Why? Their coach says the team is growing, and they are also maturing. They had bad runs at the games where CC was injured, and I think that's because they are too dependent on her. Now, they need consistency. They can win games, that's for sure, but it's how they will keep it up that will be the next key to winning more games.

Their next stop will be against Sparks. Last time they met, the Fever lost by 10 points.

Haha, it's getting better and better. Wonder who and what site offers bets like this. Polymarket? I mean when a bet is that easy to influence or to take advantage of it's kinda bad business isn't it?
The only tricky part is getting the dildo into the arena. I mean, well, obviously there are places where you could hide it though.

Another player quickly ran over and kicked the dildo. I am starting to smell conspiracy here… Maybe this is how the girls are going to make up for their salaries. By making dildo side bets.

Yeah, it was Kelsey Plum who kicked it, but how on earth did it get past security checks? Isn’t it high time they added more cameras and tightened things up so they can catch whoever’s tossing it around? I'm guessing a group is probably behind this considering it's even a thing to be bet on.

This whole thing seems way too calculated to be random. You’ve got to wonder if someone on the security team is in on it or probably they're way too sneaky.

I'm here for the bets but this happenings around NBA are definitely getting crazier.

Anyway, the Fever's winning streak is over after they were beaten by the Sparks. 91-100. Rickea Jackson and Kelsey Plum made half of the total points of the Sparks with 25 points each. Kelsey Mitchell of the Fever made a monster 34 points, but it's not enough to win the game.

I am really liking the WNBA now. It feels more balanced than last year. The Aces, despite having a lot of stars in their roster, are still having a hard time winning games, just like against the Valkyries today, although the Aces still won it. It's only the Lynx that is showing great strength, with only 5 losses in 30 games.

I am someone who hates "conspiracy" theories. But at the same time, I am pretty sure that I can't remember any person managing to throw something into the court neither in NBA nor in WNBA before. So, it is clear that we are seeing something that might be a bit more about PR and marketing. While the first person who did it ended up in jail, not sure if he will go to prison, but definitely in jail.

We need to remember that they can definitely stop this happening if they want to. They check everyone when going in, so you can't hide a dildo if you wanted to. As long as security does their job well. You check their body anyways, and then you check the bag, and where else can they hide it. So it's understandable that this could be intentional, to PR the WNBA a bit more.

Dream versus storm was such an insult of a game. I already know before the game even started that there is something off with it. Atlanta is the far better team this season and riding a winning streak, the exact opposite goes for Seattle. Still before the game this was a 50-50 affair according to odds makers, which didn’t make any sense at at.
And then there was the final quarter where Atlanta went from -12 to +5 in a 21:4 run. Was it over? Not even close. Suddenly Seattle can play basketball again and finishes the game with a 9:2 run. I mean come on. The odds before the game and then such a strange finish?

Liberty may be in front, but the Lynx can never be underestimated. They are the number 1 team on the rankings with only 5 losses, so there's a chance they might steal this game from the homecourt of the Liberty.

Crazy that it looks like the WNBA is going to have a lockout come October because they wouldn’t accept the deal they were offered. Seeing these women finally get some notice and then shoot themselves in the foot demanding more money when the league isn’t profitable is crazy. Some people really are their own worst enemy.

Classic.  I mean who do these woman think they are. They still offer a product that doesn't make any money, yet they think they deserve more. Missing layups and airballing wide open jumpers should be paid millions I guess. Let them do the lockout, nobody really cares about them anyway and they will find out soon enough. I only feel bad for the team owners cause they are the ones losing even more money with the crap.
"Pay us what you owe us", they should pay the people having to deal with a joke league like this in my opionion.

Not to mention they are finally getting some attention because of Caitlin Clark and the first thing they do is strike for more money after denying a 500% raise? They are looking at things all wrong. The WNBA is a chance to self promote and make a fortune like Clark and Reese are doing with Nike and Reebok. Striking is such a bad idea.
