Most common peer pressure activities I have witnesses here in my country are related to the consumption of tobacco (smoking), drinking alcohol and attending to brothels to engage with prostitutes, but nothing much beyond it, to be honest.
I assume in the case of the least fortunate people in this society I live in, there is more children who are per pressured into shoplifting when they have the chance to do it, and get themselves food and candies, which they would be unable to get otherwise.
I have never witnessed shoplifting, but I knew a case of someone who did it out of need and also because started to get quite comfortable with stealing packages of oreos and candies from a local grocery store. Needless to say, that teen ended up getting involved on more serious crimes when he grew out and now he does not have a fixed path in life to follow. All of it is a consequence of living in a country going through a process of devolution.
peer pressure has made this kids and teenages do things that's are despicable, imagine going into drugs and prostitution at this early age because of your friends are into it.growing kids and teenages should learn to talk to parents and guidance, school teacher's and other adult they fell comfortable talking to;drugs and prostitution are things that can destroy a person's live for life.
Parents should create a comfort zone for our growing adult,a save space where they're heard and listened to,not just as a child but as a friend and confident.they're secrets should be save and take notice of every little details when they get home.
I don't know whether it is the same context in your country when comes to the quality of teachers and education in general, but here in my country teachers simply do not care anymore what happens to their students, because they are in a bad enough position, both economically and socially, due to the nature of the regime we live here, were education is under-funded by the state. When teachers do not care about their students and are more worried about the economy, then there is no chance kids and teens will have some safeguard against those bad influences you mention.
Sadly, there are women and men who have no idea what being a parents is supposed to be about and neglect their children, allowing them to have bad companies, which will eventually introduce them to those vices.
