I was at the bitcoin meet up on wednesday and a Cavirtex representative announced that Cavirtex is the first bitcoin company in Canada or even the world with a local Money Service Business License. This means that Cavirtex will be under FINTRAC compliance. Cavirtex will announce this news soon.

I've been leery about depositing money after the gox incident.  I have completed my verification, but have been on the fence about them.  After some reviews I've seen from people and now this.  I'm gonna assume that they are 100% legit.

I've done a fair amount of BTC sales with them.  No issues at all - they even called ME on the phone when I emailed them a question.

Plus, Canadians are honest.

No regulations in Canada (right now) doesn't matter if they have a license, also won't make a difference with regard to banks. They can still freeze or drop their accounts due to high risk cryptocurrency trading. I hope they don't, but keep that in mind when dealing with any exchange

HERE IS THE DIFFERENCE.

I am registered to go get my drivers license but I don't have one per say so the government cant support me driving on public roads.

I have got my license and now the government thinks its safe for me to drive on the road and not put anyone at risk.
