I think you're exaggerating a bit about BRICS, or you're not keeping up with current world events that have forced BRICS members to freeze the alliance's activities indefinitely after Trump's return to the White House. Russia, which encouraged the creation of BRICS to counter American economic and financial influence, has now become an undeclared friend of the United States, which led to the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis by dividing Ukraine. On the other hand, China is waging a proxy war with Pakistan against its ally, India, which is in turn waging a proxy war on behalf of the United States, which seeks to weaken Chinese economic influence.
I'm not saying that BRICS is finished, but it is currently frozen, and I see no point in discussing it as an internationally active organization. It became clear that this alliance is meaningless without its two leaders, China and Russia, who are ready at any moment to shift their positions to serve their own interests, not the interests of the alliance.
