Please, can anybody help me to open port for incoming connections with this version 29.0??
What on earth  have they done with this new version that neither GUI setting for pcp or nat-pmp , nor natpmp=1 option in bitcoin.conf do NOT WORK any more??
Thank you!

They change the implemetantion for those feature. See this release note.

libnatpmp was replaced with a built-in implementation of PCP and NAT-PMP (still enabled using the -natpmp option). This supports automatic IPv4 port forwarding as well as IPv6 pinholing. (#30043)

Anyway, i would recommend you to move this thread to "Bitcoin Technical Support" board while adding additional information stated on [READ BEFORE POSTING] Tech Support Help Request Format.

I've never been able to get incoming connections to work.  I gave up some time ago hahahaha.

You say they changed implementation.
This is NOT any answer to my question!
I myself know they did.
They just did NOT EXPLAIN in a plain English HOW TO open the port NOW.
The GUI option is present as earlier , yet it absolutely does NOT work!!
Any sane developer would either remove yhe option from the GUI, or let it work correctly!
It seems they do all possible to BLOCK people from running full nodes with open incoming connections for all!

Lunafreak, up untill the 28.1 version all was always working fine!
I myself reverted to 28.1, and the incoming port was opened instantly!
Check your firewall settings. Maybe that is the cause of your problem
