There are times when we can't control our emotions - like when we're losing and become aggressive because we want to win more, or when we chase losses and make reckless moves. Neither usually ends well. How about you? Which type of gambler are you,  the kind who gets aggressive when losing, or when winning?

For me its definitely more aggressive when winning but the only catch on that is that i usually set limits and or breaks to compose myself and then resume once I feel good in my gut and shoot for the stars! When I'm losing i usually throw in the towel only to pick it back up again once I'm made whole again

Apparently, our human psychology is structured in such a way that if we lose, we instantly extrapolate this feeling and begin to consider ourselves complete losers, who immediately remember everything we have gone through before.
Well, this feeling also works in the opposite direction, that if the gambler wins, then he immediately imagines that his skills are perfectly honed and now only they are victories ahead and such a feeling can very easily serve the head, that the gambler will stop being careful in the strategy that he supported.

I do believe that feeling mixed with faith can lead to sure outcomes sometimes. Whether you think you can or you can't you're right mentality. You have to surely try and keep up a positive mentality or I fear that a lot of people tend to "lose it" or they basically find a way to give in and let themselves down, they fall into a slump. Hopefully we don't stay in slumps for too long though and "throw in the towel" for too long and I hope that everyone's luck here is good and wins their bets!

I used to get really upset when I lost and would take it out on the people around me, but I realized that this was damaging my relationships. Nowadays, I try to stay calm. I still don't like losing, but I've learned to have more control over the feelings of “anger” that it causes me.

I had similar situation as this and that's way back then and usually it's as a result of the losses i generated while gambling and it almost got to a stage where I was so mean to every one around me all because of that but I came to realize that it doesn't make sense  feeling or acting that way. So instead I had to bear in mind that gambling will always have losses and winning so I'm every way there's no point to be aggressive if you tend to lose.

I hate it a lot whenever I loose and so I retry to always go in more but my discipline always held me back, I get boiled in my heart because the least expected games has always been the bad pick among others. Most times that my discipline allows me to retry, I mostly remove the cut games and replay the entire game believing the rest will play out but the worst day always that day, so I observed this pattern and so I stopped it immediately after first cut because it's never end well replaying the same game.

As a gambler, getting aggressive can only happen more often when you’re losing because that’s the only time you’ll feel bad about your losses and when you’re the type that still has more funds to gamble, you’ll want to put more money to recover from your losses, which your been aggressive will cost you more. The casino does not care how you feel when you’re losing but you’ll end up losing more when you don’t control your emotions. Have in mind that losses are part of this game and when you come across one and your risk limit is reached, you should not want to chase loss, because it’ll only make you lose more and make more reckless decisions. It is designed to make you lose more, so be smarter than the game.

I'll prefer to be the type that gets more aggressive when winning than being the gambler that gets aggressive when losing because losing and still being aggressive is more dangerous than when you're winning. For the games you win and keep on gambling, you might be lucky to continue to win but for the times that you're losing, you'll think you can recover but that's not how the games are going to end.

Neither though are good gambling behaviour to have because they can both lead you to losing hence don't change how you're gambling despite how the results are coming unless you're losing and you want to tryout new strategy but still it's shouldn't involve you increasing your staking capital.

It is kind of a double edged sword. No matter when you get more aggressive, the fact that you are turning to be aggressive would just lead you to more losses. I believe that if you can be aggressive when losing then there is an equal chance of you being aggressive when you are winning. But if you can control yourself at both situations then you should be fine. You need to find balance between the possible outcomes.

Aggressiveness shows a sign of desperation and indiscipline, when your emotions can't be contained when you are losing this is what happens and it can only get more disastrous if you are an Indisciplined Gambler. Mastering self-control isn't easy but it's not impossible, as someone with a little experience in gambling I would advice whoever is thinking of starting their gambling journey to do a little self check, if you are the type that doesn't have emotional control then don't gamble

You behavior could be quite unusual maybe due to the way you see life. Sometimes, you need to learn how to accept defeat and allow things to flow through your mind without over reacting.
