at this point people will bet on anything, even when it is an unethical thing for them to bet on, but just because they want to make money they don't care about it and still gamble their money.

I don't think that most people are betting for this event because they want to make money. Yes, they want to bet for everything that they can see. But on this one, I don't think that it's all about money because what seems to be odd for us, looks fun for them. And that's the reason why they're betting on this papal conclave and that's to have fun and enjoy if they have guessed it right if they have bet for the next one. If they lose, they'll just move on while people looks at them as someone who's unethical who bet for this but they don't care.

Next Pope to be elected schedule?

The papal conclave is set for May 7, when the cardinals will meet for morning Mass at St. Peter's Basilica with the purpose of praying for the wisdom needed to choose the next pope.
Conclaves are usually held 15 to 20 days after the pope's death.

As someone from the Philippines and with Cardinal Luis Tagle being one of the favorites to win, it's just a bit disappointing because this conclave could have been the first time an Asian and a Filipino at that became Pope. Nevertheless, as a Catholic we have to accept and respect the outcome. I don’t know what the odds were for the New Pope Cardinal Robert F. Prevost who was elected. Congratulations to those who won and if you placed your bet on Cardinal Robert F. Prevost, good for you.
