Sport and Gambling the Unifying factor that brings people together

There are interesting historical facts: when there was a ceasefire during the war, and football matches were held. I agree that sports unite, and perhaps gambling can become a common interest for people interested in winning. The main thing is to always remain human, not to lose your head if something does not go according to plan, since everyone understands that football matches sometimes do not end the way fans would like, and we see clashes between them. It was more influenced by sports itself than gambling, it was just the media where they met and you had to think that all people were not grabbing, so gambling was only a small part of what you could think about unifying people, if you see that sports fans are very much, especially in football, you see many people of different regions and do not know then you see them sitting together in the stands to support their favorite team, even if there are people who can think about unifying people. They are different support can be a big problem for both different supporters, usually people like that have a time to hate people they hate.

After all, these athletes don't care what their fans are doing while watching or after watching their game. They are not liable to whatever will happen to their audience. They won't reach out to you to say that make amends with your opponent or of that sort, right?

Most fans out there have failed to realized this - some of them go to the length of even harming others just for the sake of proving that they are a real supporter of a club or a particular player (I have seen it happen and also read articles about supporters doing the unthinkable to those who were against the athletes that they were supporting).

Talking about sports, football precisely is a sport that brings different people together, you don't even have know someone before talking to them when you are in a football viewing center, everyone can be vibing and playful with each other, disagreements can come up but they will just end as playful arguments but I can't say the same thing about gambling, if you have ever been to a Gambling shop you'd see the Crisis that happens when dispute isn't settled... people walk in under the influence of drugs and alcohol, some get easily triggered because they are losing Money, this makes most of them violent for little reasons.

Indeed! A lot of gamblers become friends owed to the teams they are rooting for. We can't deny the fact that gamblers can create long-time friendships owed to this activity. For one, if you are watching a specific sports, it means, at one point, you will truly encounter people who are also rooting for the same team. Usually, it will start with a short talk and later on, you will find out you have a lot of things to talk about. And that will be start of your new friendship with other people.
However, we can't eradicate the fact that it can also divide people especially if they are rooting for the opposite team. This is normal scenario in every sports. There is a lot of unity and brotherliness in the betting houses since everybody comes there with a common interest of winning. The coordination there also comes from the fact that you don't have to win to have some cash. When you help someone make a good selection and the person wins, there is a reward for you and if the winnings are huge, the person can decide to host everyone present in the gambling house. There has been the opposite in my ethnic group where I come from where two villages go into a war where houses was burnt , people shot by gun killed, that lasted for couple of months because of a football match with the club Manchester United and Chelsea. It all happened from a fan of Manchester United insulting the Chelsea fan after Chelsea lost the game against ManU, the guy got angry by fighting. That was how it got to involve the two villages into heavy war.

Another example, I know an Arsenal fan in my region where he always got angry whenever Arsenal loosing a game, if another club fan touches him by laughing at Arsenal poor performance, he'll immediately get angry and start fighting heavily, he easily get angry whenever his club losses a match which causes him to fight with someone in the viewing center if he gets attacked or been laughed at.

So in reality, sport and gambling can bring togetherness or war between two people, places and even more, it all depends on how mature you handle everything and every mood.

It is true that sports are a unifying and camaraderie factor in society, and inasmuch as it is concerned, it keeps a strong unity amongst peers and groups of different divides. However, children are not left out of this, as I can see that these days parents now engage their kids in sports activities to build that comradeship and inclusivity amongst them unlike before in the yester years when parents prohibits their kids from taking part in any sports activities as they see it as a waste of time but these days the narrative has changed and what we see now is the positive aspect of it and that shows that the orientation is now of a good perspective for them and it is good they recognise it and are putting it into practice.
