To BitMart. Bad perpetual trading experience. I am leaving.

I have this exchange for some years but I have not used it for derivative trading before until yesterday. I also used it today but now I am leaving the exchange.

It has been the worst exchange that I have used on my Android through their application. Exchanges have one cons or the other but which are manageable but BitMart cons on derivatives are not manageable at all.

Anytime you close and open back the app, the exchange will set the time from 15 minutes candles back to the default of 5 minutes that I am not using at all.

The exchange takes long to load while on the chart if I open another app and want to go back to the exchange. Not my phone beuase it take exchange just less than 1 seconds to load the charts as long as I am on the chart. My phone has good processor and 8 gigabyte RAM.

If you gain or lose and want to check you balance, you will have to refresh, what that is refreshing even while trading on other exchanges, you will see it moving on the asset page according to your PnL on other exchanges.

It is in isolated mode. If you change it to cross margin and you close the app and open it back, it would have changed to isolated mode back which most traders are not using. It got little of my money liquidated just now because I thought I used cross margin which I set it to  but it changed back to isolated.

Everything I do in the future setting like not to show order history on the chart will also go to default as you close and open back the app.

Very bad application. I am leaving the exchange. Not a good place to be.

Thanks for dropping your short reviews of your experience with Bitmart, I have used that exchange I think once and since then I never fine it attractive2to use for receiving a transaction not to even trade on the exchange, I hard a very slow service the first and the last time I used that exchange so I will generally accept you complain about the processing speed on the exchange.

I believe others will definitely take a look at all of this whenever  they want to consider using the exchange so that when they will encounter such problems it won't be a new thing or a surprising thing to them.

What a terrible experience you had with the exchange. I hear of it but I have never used their service or even registered with them. I had a chance of checking their reviews on Google play and it's not looking good. For the 51K reviews, the have a rating of 2.8!

I have begun to notice that there are these types of projects similar to Infinex and Dflow that are developing their own trading apps for smartphones. This might imply that this is a growing market which might also imply that these projects might tokenize and be one of the big storylines of the bull market heheheh.

It has been long that I downloaded the app but I did not use it for trading until 2 or 3 years after, I just had it on my device. If I saw this review, I might not have downloaded it. It is having 1.5 ⭐ review here which is very bad.

I have other exchanges with good trading experience. All that I have used are good until I saw BitMart. Bybit is still the best for me. I used Gate.io recently also it is good. For lower fee, MEXC is good. Bitget is also good. These are my best.

Others like Binance, OKX BingX, HTX, even the Kucoin that I do not like because of high fees are not bad.

Smart phones is a popular now in crypto trading. For bigger screen, Android tables  or foldable phones will be good. I only use laptop for analyses but phone is capable of it also.

Just when I saw this your post I remembered having this exchange app in my phone, it had uninstalled itself since I don’t use it for anything, I just used it ones to bought a coin that was only listed on the exchanges some years ago. I don’t really see the exchange as something one can really feel comfortable even holding on to a coin with for savings or trading, so I haven’t tried out trading using this platform before. And I never bothered to even check the coin I bought through this exchange many years ago. Thanks for this review, it’ll help many traders not to lose their money while trying to trade using the exchange.

I ask because I am beginning to notice some trading apps creators are beginning to tokenize their own projects for decentralization. Would you speculate that this will be a big storyline for 2025 if this segment of users is growing?

It has grown since years ago and most people are using it because they can easily have access to phones than computer as almost every youth are using browsing phone today. Also on platform like X, you will see many people posting image of the exchange price and chart with phone also. The exchanges are also all having phone app. If users are not using it, they will not have phone app. This has been like this since long time ago but I think it will grow as more people are just starting to know about cryptocurrencies and crypto exchanges.

It is. I have found myself trading using my Smartphone even when I have my PC available. The thing is, mobile phones make it easy to trade on the go while a PC will have you fixed at one station.

If you are very keen, so many popular exchanges do not have dedicated trading terminals for PC (windows, Linux, macOS) but they do have Android and iOS apps. This further emphasizes the narrative that mobile phones are indeed so popularly used for trading. Among the popular exchanges, it's only Binance that has PC apps as well.
