A bad day in Blackjack

I think this is pretty normal in blackjack. In my case, I didn’t just lose 15 times in a row, it might’ve even been 30. I don’t have proof, but experiences like that are hard to forget. There are really days like that—sometimes you’re unlucky, sometimes you’re lucky. And the best thing you did was stop playing right away when you weren’t feeling it anymore and were on a losing streak. Unlike me, who kept betting and betting despite consecutive losses instead of stopping.

To be honest, losing in blackjack is more common when there are more players.

If you already have bad odds compared to the casino, including more players actually play against you.

The more players, the more chances other people will win, and therefore you lose. It's just how the game works.

In 10 hands you only win once, I think it's still better than in 20 hands not winning a single hand. Those were the bad days back when I was playing on one of our local platforms. Everything we experience can be a lesson for us, remember that the best teacher is experience itself. I personally was not angry when it happened, but I learned a lesson that it would be better to wait until the dealer has bad cards. Monitoring first will always be better than rushing, mate .

This is why I don't encourage multiple bets in casino gambling, it's can be mentally damaging when you bet on 10 games and won only one...like you said he would have waited until the dealer has bad cards, although this might not have had a different outcome but perhaps he won't have lost so much...I think he gambled that way because he had some sort of strategy he thought could work for him. This is a lesson to him and I'm sure he will be careful next time.

It's good that you quit immediately. I'm sure many gamblers would find it hard to do that. They'd continue to bet even if they're already irritated by their losing streak. Why continue to gamble if you're not anymore having fun, right?

Alfred we have bad days and good day so when you notice you are encountering losses at the moment you just have to quit and try again later. However casino games are entirely based on luck, you don't need to imply any analysis for you to win, all you can do is select your odds then bet and wait for the results.

We do know that BJ do need up that luck despite of having that potential strategy on which we cant be able to apply not unless if you do have that sharp mind on making those counting but still most of those BJ players online wont be that trying out to do so yet multiple decks are used. You would be that probably taking that they are rigging up those cards at the moment that they do able to hit 20's or BJ itself at the moment that you do have that 18 or 19 at your hand.  . Just like on what op experienced out on having 1 win over 9 loses? You do definitely be thinking that there's something wrong but in the end it will be always that pertaining about on how lucky you are on that particular point. I have been able to experience it out but 1 out of 10 is just that too much for me. I might have that able to stop or have a break in between 1 out of 7 i guess and then trying out to have a break and trying to break that unfortunate condition or unluckiness but of course there's that always the thinking that they are that rigging up those cards. hahah

That's correct, but we shouldn't look out for the better days only because the bad days are bigger than the good days. What I mean is we lose more than we win and like have also said on my previous comment in the same thread that we shouldn't get carried away by our winning during the better days and we should be prepared for the worst. However no one prays to lose but as some point you need know that's it's not your lucky day, just like what happened to the op.

Yeah you definitely need to be prepared for bad days, that's why if you have no money you shouldn't be gambling in the first place! Responsibility is priority and some people get that mixed up and have no compass for it. But there will always be better days even if you do have a bad day.

Even though people say differently, Blackjack is a game of luck and not a skill-based game. You can't do card counting, especially in an online platform because you don't have that much time and you have to make a decision about what you want to do, so at the end of the day, whether you are going to win or lose depends on the cards you get, and the cards are random and that's why, you need luck to be able to win even in blackjack. If you don't get good cards, the house is most probably going to win.

I have played blackjack a lot, I do feel that a loss streak as long as what OP has experienced is very rare, but at the end of the day, it's gambling, and if we are in a luck-based game, we can expect things like these to happen because I have literally seen people experiencing loss streaks above 20 which is crazy because if you are someone applying a betting pattern such as the martingale, you will be empty even if you have a million dollars.

Every gambler should understand that winning is not their right and just as there's days you'll be winning consecutively, there are still bound to be losing days which OP experienced. It's an experience every regular gambler gets often, personally I've grown to understand that it's part of the game, so I don't worry myself much about it.

The difference on Blackjack and sports betting is the result doesn’t affected by your game analysis. You can suffer terrible losing streak if you have a poor analysis skills while on blackjack it depends on the card placement on the deck.

It’s very rare to encounter this situation because each card placement on deck should change the flow depending on your decision making.

You have a brutal bad luck if you will experience this kind of lose especially the 20 and 21 card of blackjack straight.

I think this kind of thing has been felt by gamblers, but vice versa, gamblers must have also experienced consecutive wins. Therefore, I think this kind of thing has become commonplace, and the best way to deal with it is to keep limiting yourself so that you don't get caught up in the desire to avenge your defeat, so that if that happens, there will usually be a deeper defeat and you can even fall into addiction.

One day ago, I also felt something similar, but when playing slot games, I experienced consecutive defeats and there wasn't even anything interesting that could entertain me when playing, but after that I still limited myself from continuing the game, because if I continued it, there would be a risk as I mentioned, actually there was a little feeling to avenge the defeat but I fought it, and kept limiting myself from that.

Anyway, I’ve been avoiding that live blackjack especially if it’s from that provider Live88. I’d take Evolution’s blackjack over that live casino provider Live88. Honestly, even the stake original game blackjack feels better than that live blackjack.

That said, we can't really say we're being cheated because we don’t have any evidence to prove it. It’s just better to avoid it.
