As at the early period of the month of May and closing of April, there were news going around "Sell at May", and instead, the market picked up from the $80k price mark and now reading at above $100k, showing strength of remaining there. Within this month, I also heard different analysts say that the market will touch within the price range of $90k - $98k before reaching the highs of $106k+, recently, we have touched $107k, and showing strong bullish signals.

What now;
Are we seeing Bitcoin defile market analysis and price direction/expectations?
Are we still expecting the Altcoins season, or it has passed already/yet to come?

Know that as some analysts are predicting bitcoin price to increase, some will predict bitcoin price to fall. Also know that analyst is rubbish at times as they do predict increase and decrease in the same price speculation. If you have been following them, you will later stop it and know how to make the analyses yourself because it is not hard and you can either be right or wrong just like other analysts.

This is not the first time and it is no more new since many years ago.

What happened in 2024? Is that not altseason. Altseason can not happen two times in a cycle.

Nothing to deliberate or argue here because from an onset bitcoin price has been unpredictable and every analysts speculating about the price of bitcoin knows they're just guessing periodically holding on past market performance as a tool to estimate what the future outcome may be.
As for AltCoins, that's not recognized in my digital investment scheme. So I don't care if the good time season comes or not. I basically feel for those who ventures into investing on the AltCoins without proper research of what valuable rate they may hold in the future before investing on them.

So nothing wrong with waiting a bit more - and seeing BTC excel.

This cycle is not over yet for BTC.

I also heard from some famous crypto activists here (in my country) saying that based on their analysis Bitcoin will experience a decline in the near future, and they also said that there is a possibility of falling below $100k. I don't think this can be trusted, because basically no one can predict the market with certainty, and all of these analyses are just speculations of market habits. However, if this happens then I think there is a possibility that altcoins season will come, and I think that is one of the characteristics (cmiiw).

For me personally, I don't think there is any point in selling Bitcoin even though it has decreased, because for me Bitcoin is for the long term, while what needs to be done is to continue buying or making installments on Bitcoin if it decreases in value.

Pullback may happen - but to see it happen, one must see lots of events coming like a chain that would disrupt the market once again, like with the tariff wars or something similar.

do not over exaggerate the word analysis
most influencers are not technical analysts(TA) but instead are trend anals(a-holes)

most influencers are also pump/dump guys
they want the naive traders to sell at loss or low, so that the influencers can buy cheap

..
keep in mind influencers are not goodwill people offering insider tips before actions occur
instead when they want to buy cheap they will tell others to sell low
also if there was any known factor about to play out. the influencer has already taken action before divulging it publicly to everyone else. after all why tell other people, give hem the advantage and then have to compete.. they wont want to shoot selves in the foot by losing the advantage
so by the time your told to sell.. that price action has already been taken advantage of and the opposite is about to start by the time your told

in short. if someone is telling you to sell, be prepared to buy

if the public sentiment is hearing rumours of a altcoin season. the big players already started buying cheap alts long ago and your only entering the tail end. your just pushing up the price for them to sell

so dont play the rumour or take advice from the trend anals(asses) whom dont understand bitcoins 4 year cycle, because they are too busy fooling the naive traders with 'moving averages' of stupid Xmonth numbers they make up pretending to sound professional

tradfi analysts of stocks/shares have moving average patterns of X month EG 6 month, quarterly, yearly. due to their corporate financial reports. dividends, profit announcements having X month schedules which changes stocks/shares on similar schedules due to market reaction to corporate financials of said stock/share.. however bitcoin doesnt play to these silly financial corporate report release schedules. so anyone doing X month moving averages announcements for bitcoin, have no clue about bitcoin cycles and are just fooling people by using trad-fi buzzwords, which dont apply

The main accumulators in the current market are institutions, private investment organizations, and the government, so what you have to do now is follow the money because there's no way the said dump in price will happen when we have firms like BlackRock, Metaplanet, and MicroStrategy accumulating. JP Morgan is stepping up their Bitcoin service, while Ukraine partners with Binance to establish a national Bitcoin reserve strategy, etc.

Altcoin may happen and may not happen, but the chance of it happening is slim, footing the enthusiasm that a lot of governments have in Bitcoin reserve strategy.
