I want this thread to be a thread to praise your campaign managers (present or past), even if not your campaign manager, but you like the way he runs his campaign.

In a Nigerian adage, "when you praise a palm wine tapper, he will bring home even the finest wine".

If this topics goes fine, we could have another thread pointing their weaknesses so that they can improve.

Campaign managers are probably more powerful and important than the forum moderators at this point. Very close to the admin. To many people the forum wouldn’t mean much if there were no sig campaigns. And if there were no forum users, the admin and the mods would lose their reason to exist. (What good is an empty forum?)

Camp managers enable people to earn money and money is… do I need to say more? It is important as fuck.

Moderators and admins works are often not visible to the community. For instance, if a particular case of Plagerism or post deletion is done, you wouldn't know which moderator did so. So, it might be difficult appraising them.
I remember also that there was an organised award that hilariousandco emerged the best moderator.
You can create a similar thread for mods if you feel it's important.

That's true, but some forks can turn it to a troll thread in the reputation board which I call the drama board.

You’re right since the focus of discussion will based on personal opinion towards campaign manager skills.

However, campaign manager is still a service and some user might include the discussion on the CM service performance. This thread is the best thread for those project that looking for a campaign manager service since every opinion here is an actual experience to a specific campaign manager.


I work with @Little_mouse for many months already. He is very considerate due to his willingness to let his participants improve instead of kicking out the member immediately.

I like to the consideration on payment whenever someone missed few post since he still value the effort. Only few campaign member do this and I commend LM for being 1 of them.

This thread would create controversy. Managers are professional and good from their ends. It's hard for participants to describe the strength of a manager. Because other managers would be disappointed, and almost all the participants have to work with all managers. If you are working under a manager and you describe some other managers' strengths, then he would be angry. I am not talking about all. But I have seen previously even managers attack each other. However, I don't want to point many managers; everyone is the best from their ends.

People are going to praise whomever currently employs them on the forum mostly, but that doesn't mean they can't respect what another manager does does it? I agree that it could make another manager angry if they are talking about another manager when you(their manager) gave them a spot, but that to me would just show that the manager is insecure and immature.

Honestly, this thread just comes off as a possible merit fishing thread. Don't know if that was the intention, just what it feels like.

All campaign managers are unique in their own ways, and everyone would also like to praise their campaign manager that is why you see some campaign participants leave positive tags on their manager. As a manager, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that your campaign participants are treated kindly and everything is done orderly. After all they are paid as campaign managers, so they basically should discharge their duties perfectly.

I am surprised to get this kind of response from you. Why would a campaign manager feel insecure because another person was praised. There's also no rule that you will praise only one campaign manager. You can praise as many as you have worked with.

An opportunity to appreciate a manager publicly but we decided not to and insinuate it's a merit bla bla. Do campaign managers give merits?
You can only make such an allegation to lower ranked members. As a Hero member I know merit threads, if I need it desperately, I will write in such threads.

I also didn't intend that the topic be here. I made it in the service discussion thread but a mod moved it to here. I am not comfortable seeing the thread in this board. I will therefore lock it.
