This amount to a waste of time for me, I can really figure out how this works, because there can never be a fair sharing formula is this donation project of a thing, this is the biggest joke I have read on internet for a long while now, because there can never be fairness since their is no stipulated amount in donations by each participants so anyone can decide to donate or not for whatever reasons.
To better understand the concept and mechanics of donations, imagine the following scenario:
There are 100 users, each with $1. On its own, $1 is too small to spend on anything meaningful. But if all 100 users send their $1 to a single user, that person receives a total of $100.
In return for donating, users who contributed gain a chance to become the next donation recipient. Essentially, they’re getting a chance to multiply their $1 several times over.
This is somewhat similar to a lottery, where donations act as "tickets." However, unlike a lottery (or any form of gambling), there is no organizer fee or margin — donations go directly to the selected user's wallet. This means users are not at a long-term disadvantage like they are in lotteries or casinos.
About donation amounts:
Each pool has a set minimum donation amount. If a user sends less than the minimum, their donation won’t count toward the draw. There is no maximum limit, but there's generally no benefit in sending more than the minimum, with a small exception for the "Donation Pool 100 DNT."
About fairness:
The selection mechanism for the next donation recipient is based on public Polygon blockchain data and is clearly described in the project rules. Any user can independently verify and reproduce the draw process.
