A little observation.

I have noticed a recent observation in this our local board, and I will like to share it to see if someone else has observed it too, and also so that it can be corrected and an attitude that should be fixed.
Many of us feel that there is a potential to only earn merit from the merit sources here in the local board when you start a topic, not when you engage in another topic or discussion that has already been started. I dey see many topics wey engagements suppose dey, but as we plenty for here, engagements go cun dey few. E nor too good like that.

Let us try engaging in topics created even when we have topics of our own to start.

The more we share our knowledge on topics regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrency, the more many of us learn from each other based on our different perspectives and unique mindsets

Na good observation you drop so but I think engagement on a topic largely depends on the number of users who are interested in it. Even if a topic is interesting, individuals won't engage it if it falls outside their specific interests. People's interests varies so it's natural for engagement to be selective.

Just as Chalse-Tim mentioned na local board be this so engagement no go be like main board own unless when maybe the discussion long and people keep quoting and replying one another.

Another point that we need to know and consider when it comes to commenting on topics is your ability to know and understand what is being communicated via a thread because if you don't understand fully what someone is talking about it will be difficult for you to comment something reasonable as you don't know what the Op will be trying to communicate to the wider audience

There is no way anyone is spending their entire life on the forum, so thy can't expect everyone to comment on every single topic created in the local, it uncalled for besides you only discuss on topics that interests you otherwise you may find yourself spamming in that thread.  An wattin person get understanding of Naim em go choke mouth contribute, u no expect person to just wake up make e come dey go talk for topic why e no understand where the discussion dey go. Besides no be like say we never hear some of these things before, na just the way you go take restructure your post go make am dey interesting to discuss put.

Creating new topics that is different adds value to the board. In fact new topics are the engine of the forum and local board in particular because it brings something new to discuss. It is left for the op of the old thread to bump the thread by writing on it if they feel that it should come back to people's faces. But usually we no go expect response and discussion on LB like it is in global board. In fact, the LB is even getting attention because most of the campaign now accept some countable posts from LB and that's why we are seeing some people coming back home unlike before that LB wasn't counted. Then, it was very dry.

If there is no creation of new topics here on the local board, many members will just be spamming. So, if no new topics are coming to the local board, the discussion will start to look boring. As long as the new topics are for the purpose of sharing information or asking questions, it is a good idea to see new topics.In fact, if new topic threads are not created often, it may seem like no new members are coming in to learn. But the most important thing is that members should focus on creating meaningful threads.

That's the beauty of acquiring knowledge,even iron sharpens irons.One thing I've observed on this board is,many Nigerians don't comment on what they don't have idea on, that's exactly what everyone would do to avoid misleading information.For instance,I can't contribute on topics like Bitcoin node or bitcoin mining because that's what I don't have any idea on,so that's just the honest truth.
Almost 85% of topics on this local board has been discussed but there's a way you'll recreate a topic that has been discussed and people will engage on it without saying it has been posted years back.For instance, phishing scam is what almost everyone knows on this forum,but there's a way you'll startup a discussion on phishing scam maybe the new strategy on phishing scam used by scammers,and trust me alot of us will engage because it's worth contributing.

Especially if we read the posts on our local board regularly and become regular then we can learn a lot and we can improve our skills. When someone cannot understand a subject then he can ask for help from everyone so that he can know about that subject and gain experience on that subject

You’ve done well with your observation and I go say na true you talk and sincerely, everybody wan grow and I no go blame anybody wey choose to use whatever strategy best known to them, our local board na one of the fastest rising local boards for this community and as such, everybody wan stay visible at all cost because nobody Dey really get time merit post or reply wey Dey third page or after except them Dey personally do some post review for a person and this isn’t limited to any merit source but to every local board user.

Most times, I think the solutions we seek from creating a post are mostly gotten even from just the first page and maybe extended to the second page (just my personal observations) and if I’m a merit a good response, it comes mostly on the first two pages except I’m doing a personal profile review of someone.
In as much as I want to learn, I try not to get bored in the process.

The basic condition for entering Bitcoin is that you first practice well and then join the forum. There are many who suddenly create a confusing environment in the forum without understanding anything, which creates a negative reaction, which creates a mental stress for newbies and makes them frustrated. Again, there are some short-term investors who always buy and sell Bitcoin with a certain volatility. So I think you need to acquire a fairly formal knowledge to invest in Bitcoin.

If you look at the different coins, you will see that Bitcoin has been prioritizing its trajectory and is above all in terms of long-term investment. If you practice with your perspective, then I think only Bitcoin will be in your investment routine.
