Are poor people just working for mere survival or with the hopes of living a better life far beyond what they can ever comprehend?

It depends on the individual, environment and peer group. If a poor man is in an interior place or leave in the ghetto in the city and don't have rich men children as his friends, he might not think that big in future. If the poor man has the zeal to upgrade his standard of living and work towards it with a positive mindset, he will definitely be elevated from his poverty. The most important thing is to be  at the right place at the right time with the right people.

how about poor people in the street? how can they turn their live around? Even in the digital age, it's going to be very hard for them to fight a job unless someone reach out and help them out like what we have been seeing in tiktok (although it's obvious for click and clout), but still they made a follow up and make sure that the people they help will have a job and they will survived.

So very difficult for those poor people, they really need the help of someone or the government itself to get out of their predicament and be self-sufficient at least. And to the poor, I can't imagine their situation, they might have given up already in their lives that they will remain poor.

To be fair, when you are at the very bottom, the point shouldn't be to get rich, the point should be reaching a very bare life. What I mean is that, if you are homeless, have no money, no anything. You can still apply for a dishwasher type of job, back in the kitchen, throwing out trash, cleaning the glass, etc etc.

But, most homeless people are not homeless because they just simply failed to find a job, they are jobless because of medical issues, or psychological issues. Like for example, there are so many veterans in USA that become homeless, you think they are incapable? These guys run whole platoons, but because of what they saw in the war, and PTSD, they became incapable of working, due to trauma. And not like VA helps them out, the suicide rate among veterans is sky high, more than any other professions retirees. So believe me, it's not hard work versus lazy in most cases.

No one is better off staying poor, and no one that is rich today wants to be poor tomorrow. Everyone is working towards changing the financial status quo, at least to be able to feed themselves and their families.

In the present digital era, there's an open opportunity for the poor to be rich, and the rich to remain rich. Nobody that wants to remain stagnant in a place thinking that they are okay with the amount of money they have made, no need for them to work again or invest again

What makes the rich to be different from the poor is opportunity and smart work. If a poor man can get such an opportunity added to the sauce of hard work, he will get there and start having financial stability. The rich keeps getting richer why the poor are getting poorer because there is no opportunity that uplift them out of their present situations.
The rich will continue employing people to work for them, making money from them while paying workers peanut that will not take care of their needs. There is a big gate that separate the poor from the rich but many are still skeptical about that.

On the one hand, that's true, but it's also not entirely to blame. If we have a strong desire, we don't expect anything from the government or the environment. Instead, we find a way to rise, even if it's much more difficult.

People who are rich from birth may struggle, but those who are rich through their own hard work won't struggle even if they return to poverty. That's a fact, but there are exceptions for those with education. I believe that with education, we can achieve anything as long as we have the desire, regardless of the local environment.

another crazy thing is that when you become rich it's really hard to become poor again
class mobility is much harder upwards than the other way around

as my grandpa used to say "to do it with money is easy, I want to see you doing without it"

No one likes to be poor, people gets rich over night because of the information they get some persons still stay poor not because they are not good but they have not gotten a useful information that will transform their life and thinking.

There are some who are afraid to stay away from their comfort zone they are comfortable with the level they see their self and ok with the little salary the receive.

It is better to stay poor and later get rich and try and to stay rich than been rich and later became broke it is frustrating and can be dangerous because you have tasted life and also the good things in it most of them can do anything to get to their feet again they won't mind making money illegally.

And most importantly, the perseverance of the individual himself. Without his diligence, he won't go that far. Because if the person has very good motivation to get out of the situation, he would do anything to reach out his goals. No matter what the situation he is in. If the individual wants to achieve his goals, he would accept it as a challenge and would slowly do things that will make him achieve such goals.
Just think of the fact that a lot of rich people came from their humble beginnings. And that alone, was a testament that a lot of poor people are not only working for survival but they are working their way out to achieve their dreams.
