Check and recheck the address that you are sending to before sending. That is just it.

This can only be done when the transaction has not been confirmed. That true, but not everyone may understand how those technical aspects works. They might even end up lossing more money while trying to recover some.

The idea here is that you should not type in any letter of an address by your self. Always use the copy and paste button provided by your wallet and use reputable wallets too. Also double check the address you are sending to before broadcasting any transactions to avoid error. Don't install third party keyboard software on your devices.

bitcoin transactions are recorded on a Blockchain once a transaction is confirmed they they are irresponsible that why you have to take your time to recheck the Wallet address before confirming the bitcoin transaction. To avoid send it bitcoin to the wrong address.

That's why learning is also important  .. Everyone that eventually endup knowing such did undergo a learning  process. Btw the testnet is always there to perform all this learning  process . RBF Is automatically included for every transaction  in wallet like Electrum  as well.

Do you think that the crypto area they the same as the local bank we operate? When you make the error of sending money into the wrong account and making a complaint, they can recover your money back, or the person you sent money to will do you a favor and return the money? That is not how cryptocurrency works, when you send a coin to the wrong address, it is gone my broda, and there is no way to get it back when you don't even know who manages the address you sent it to.

However, nothing is like the future because you keep making mistakes. Each cryptocurrency get their own wallet address code, Bitcoin addresses mostly begin with 1 or bc1, Ethereum addresses begin with 0x, and many others get their own too. If that one still confuses you. Maybe you should always double check your wallet, perhaps some last digits, otherwise, if you keep making this error, you will always lose money that cannot get back.

It is what it is man, if to say that kind thing dey possible wey dem fit complain if person send money to the wrong address Naim be day crypto don comot hand for anonymity, because that mean say some people Don get upper hand to fit dey controll transactions movement and validation which makes them a third-party and the removal of third-party na why Satoshi create bitcoin in the first place. There should be no reason for mistake if it contains money.
You know and you have been told that cryptocurrency is risky since it is a digital asset, sending and receiving coins are all digital so we have to be very serious about our transactions.

For any transaction you are about to make, try to check the address more than once to be sure it is correct, make sure you don’t only focus on only the prefixes and suffixes of the wallet because malware viruses can give the wallet with almost similar prefixes and suffixes so that you will be convinced and send the money, and once it is sent out and confirmed, you can’t get it back.

If platform is created to get mistaken sent transactions back, scammers will be using it as an opportunity to scam people this because even an intended transaction might be reported just to get the money back after a successful transaction.

I may not be familiar with the system, but i think there is a way to cancel a transaction only when it has not be confirmed yet, through RBF probably from my little knowledge about how to go about it. The only thing is we ought to be careful, admitting it was a mistake won't reverse the transaction, once Bitcoin leaves your wallet and is credit to another persons wallet, consider it gone and unretractable.

We can't be perfect but we must be extremely careful, every precautionary measures should be followed, try to copy from the right source and avoid cleaning and rewriting the addresses.

If there was any means wey people fit complain about their lost coin and they go later get it back, then that would have hinder the decentralized nature Bitcoin had always claim to be, because if you literally want a situation whereby a third party can offer assistance and control over your Bitcoin, then it's advisable you use a centralized exchange, whereby for example you initiated a buy or sell p2p transaction and someone under-paid you, and you reported, you still have a greater chance of getting your coin if only you could be able to provide enough evidence and proof. But in a situation whereby you want to have full control, then using a non custodial Bitcoin wallet is the best, but you just have to be extra careful so that you don't make mistake while copying and pasting.

The Bitcoin network supports onchain message via OP_RETURN but it's quite expensive and not worth it.
