What could be the possible consequence(s) of over expectation.

I great ona my country people, this thread may not be something new to some persons but let it be a reminder to them and as for those who haven't noticed or come across something similar, they should pay more attention to this because it will help in a way they won't expect. Having expectation(s) is not a bad thing but you should know that nothing on earth is certain until that particular thing has come to pass.

Furthermore, so many persons has fallen into problem, not just a problem but one that has result to enimity, death, etc because of expectation. The one that happened recently in my place, I can't tell the whole story but I will just summarize everything, there was a hidden money that was revealed as a new King entered sit and the money was 30 million dollars ( erosion money ) according to them, this money was supposed to be used for project but our leaders have been eating all the money without doing any project so the King said that this particular one, everyone is going to share it and so the King went to communities and give them hope and assurance that they will share the money, this was last year and up till now they haven't seen 5 naira and some persons has already went to borrow money, buy bags of rice on credit etc for something they are not sure of. Right now some people are trying to sell there lands and some property just to pay off. There are so many cases I have heard but this particular happened in my very before that is why I am sharing it, for those of us who haven't fall victim and those who have..., please be careful how you expect something and the kind of decision you take because of what you are expecting.
You may not understand how strong this thing I am saying is, this was something that happened in the village, where so many persons are striving to survive after the assurance and promises they went to borrow because of the hardship hoping they will pay in short time.

We should know the kind of decision we take even though things are hard.

Realists never take action based on expectations. You may plan based on expectations, but it is a mistake to take action or start an activity. There is no alternative to being realistic to avoid any kind of fraud or scam.

I never make a plan without all the materials in my hand, especially not a mistake like taking action based on expectations unless I am forced to do so. We should have some similarity with real life and the Bitcoin market, where expectations are a good thing but floating the boat on too much expectation is a big mistake.

I agree with you until Money enters your hand you should not put too much hope on it because one thing that happens when expectations are not met or come to reality is that it kills motivation level of an individual making the person to be low in spirit people should not be too carried away by promises made by our politicians because they can't be trusted with their words because politicians uses promises in deceiving and finding their way to the corridors of power.



We should not rely on the promise made by a man because man can fail you at any point in time so we should becare when we get promises from people who say they will do one thing or the other for us as an individual

In this life nothing is sure, so I don't know why anyone will take actions based on expectation. I think it's foolishness, because you did not even consider if you don't get what you are expecting. Even in business you might be expecting a certain profit and you might fall short of it, not to talk of money that someone promised you.
Personally I don't believe anything is mine until it's in my possession, so if I don't get it I don't get disappointed and I also have my peace because I will not take any action. Everyone should learn not to be over expectant,  so you don't get disappointed.
