i know the potential for charge back.
but i really want to buy btc to buy some miner hardware.
i come from indonesia country, which is hard to wire transfer from our currency to USD.
it will much easier using paypal to do the transaction.
hope there is someone out there, will help this newbie to purchase the 1st mining hardware.

I think it will be very difficult. An uphill challenge. Paypal is very high risk for chargeback and fraud.

And Indonesia (like Malaysia) has a lot of cases of credit card fraud and credit card cloning.

You should withdraw the Paypal balance to a local Indonesian bank (Bank Mandiri perhaps?) and then use it to buy Bitcoins in nearby Singapore or Australia which are both not far away from Indonesia. Both countries have several exchanges and bitcoin traders. Good luck.

PS try localbitcoins.com and search for traders in Indonesia. I just checked and there are two available under "trade in cash". Again, good luck!

Haha, this is one of the few times I've actually seen a proper use for PP's chargeback system in relation to Bitcoin related transactions.

@OP: Try to avoid dealing with other newbies - newbies have a tendency to be scammers simply creating new accounts to get more people.

file a chargeback immediately,drop him a negative trust and open a scam thread with valid proof in scam section so others can see.
