As cryptocurrency dun show face, the opportunity to invest dey open for all, and e cun dey obvious say nor be just the economy dey worry us, but plenty other reasons.

One reason wey i dun notice say dey make many Nigerians nor dey want invest for crypto na say we dey fear to loose money more than we dey enjoy to get am, so because say we nor wan loose, we dey plan am safe. How you see am? and what other reasons can we point out?

The reason why most Nigerian don't want to invest in cryptocurrency is because most of them don't have knowledge of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency investment, so they choose other investments like agricultural and real estate, which I believe is the proper decision for them because investing in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies without knowledge can result in huge losses. Most of them want investments that will yield quick profits, and Bitcoin investing doesn't guarantee instant profits. Instead, patience and a long-term approach often yield better results. The majority of them have fallen victim to cryptocurrency scams in the past, which is why they still believe Bitcoin is a scam as well. Most Nigerians began their cryptocurrency journey through Telegram T2E and were disappointed, so I'm not sure if they will trust any other cryptocurrency again.

In my opinion, no one is afraid to invest in cryptocurrency now, everyone is interested in investing in cryptocurrency now. Everyone wants to make money from cryptocurrency and enrich themselves. Maybe there was a time when Bitcoin was not very popular with people, maybe then people were afraid to invest in Bitcoin but now people are not afraid because now everyone is awake about Bitcoin. Especially we Nigerians are quite far ahead of other countries in cryptocurrency. If you can do statistics, you will definitely see that a special section of our Nigerians is involved in this cryptocurrency so we Nigerians are not afraid to invest in cryptocurrency at the moment.

Though I will say it's fear, maybe they think maybe the market will just crash. I have made some inquiries and so many people with their opinions about crypto, some said there is nothing like that while others still have this mind set that oyibo people just de use our head. But I think crypto is legit and I will encourage everybody to key into it.

Why person go dey lose money, the small one wey we get you want make we dey lose am. Assuming say the country they function well and money they flow enter people hand well, people no go dey fear to risk with a potential to sun or lose the small one we get. Why people they fear na say it you lose that money, e no easy to replace am and e go take you more time to do that. Na people wey get better spare money they invest well and na waiting make them they make the most money and get richer. Life no easy for the average human and since Bitcoin no get better reputation for the country because of the scams being associated with it (that has nothing to do with it), people have become more skeptical.

Me I been done de take risk for a long time oh but e get one I take wea chop me well well oh. I didn't recover the money sha but  I learnt so many things from it. The greatest risk is not taking risk at all

It's simply because there is so much poverty in the country. Where there is poverty, there is ignorance and illiteracy, and there is mistrust because there is a high crime rate where everybody is trying to get one over the next person. This is what poverty does to a country, and we can trace all this back to a horrible government.

I don't believe that Nigerians don't like to invest. We saw how many people put their money in Ponzi schemes like MMM and the rest, which is their own idea of investing. The high rate of poverty makes people ignorant of a lot of things. I saw a graph a few days ago that showed that only 2.4% of the Nigerian workforce earn over 200k a month. Now, we all know how the inflation in the court is about 150% since the last 3 years, so how do you expect people who make 100k and 200k to think about investing when the money they get paid a month won't be able to take care of them and their family for 2 weeks?
