Someone told me this, "Before July 2010 you could have bought tens of thousands of BTC for $1,200. Early on New Liberty Standard had absurdly low rates (e.g., October 2009 was about $0.000764 per BTC, and by early 2010 it was roughly $0.00547/BTC), and even by mid-2010 Bitcoin was still under $0.10. So depending on the exact date, $1,200 would’ve gotten you on the order of 12,000 to 24,000+ BTC (e.g., at $0.10 ≈12,000 BTC; at $0.05 ≈24,000 BTC)."  Did they get it wrong somehow?  Wouldnt 1000 usd worth of bitcoin in march of 2010 fetch like 333,333 bitcoins instead of this wimpy number?
