The relationship between gambling, gender and risk taking

If I'm not mistaken, there are a lot of studies that says women are not prone to taking risk, as they could be just a ordinary housewife or just simply going to the motions of having a job and then support her family and kids.

But I'm not sure if that study is still relevant up to this day, as we all know that there are jobs that women have occupied like CEO and being a President. And there are also lots of sports like MMA in which we see women flourish and other discipline. So maybe this time, women might be gambling and taking big risk as men does in today's world.

Honestly, I loved your first two lines, lol. I'm not sexist, but wow, some values ??have been lost. If everything were like that, I'm sure family unity would still exist and there wouldn't be so much gross debauchery in the world.

Women can do anything, but their physique is weaker; they don't have the same strength as us men. If they try, they can suffer health damage if they overdo it.

Often times the debate has been held on which gender are prone to taking more risks in gambling. It is often believed that men are more involved in gambling because more men are physically identified as gamblers. Female gamblers are more of online gamblers and therefore there's no accurate statistics on them.

In the case of actually talking risks, some researches has proven that naturally women are more enduring than men which and are more likely to gamble for a longer time despite encountering good losses.

The society like mine contributed too to ladies hiding their risk taking instincts in gambling since they're victimized when they identify as gamblers. I feel in a society that views gambling with a neutral spectrum irrespective of gender, it may be seen clearly that women are liable to taking more risks in gambling than men.

What do you think about risk taking in gambling with respect to both genders?

Men are the risk takers and that's for sure, women may be gambling too but they are more focused on other things that are really important to them and gambling isn't really one of them. I have a female gambler that doesn't appreciate the risky side of gambling and thinks taking risks in gambling is hard because it's a 50/50 chances of wasting money rather than putting it on things like clothing, and cosmetics, in my society women aren't seen as risk takers in gambling because they value every penny they get.

Not just in gambling but also in other aspects of life, men usually take more risks. Maybe it’s simply in our nature, we love thrill, adventure, and taking risks. So, it’s not surprising that men also take more risks in gambling and tend to be more short tempered as well. The number of female gamblers is increasing, but men still outnumber them. There’s no exact data yet on the ratio of male to female gamblers, but I believe men have the greater number. Like I said, it’s in our nature, and that alone explains it.

Though we have no concrete data on this, but as we have seen, male gamblers dominate the female gamblers for so many reasons. For one, females have more responsibilities at home that they don't have time for other recreational activities such as gambling. Aside from that, they are usually taking care of the budget of the family. So she knows if there's extra or not. On the other hand, males have different approach on this habit because they have more time so to speak. It is not males have less responsibilities but that's what it seems in most cases.
