Using Real Personal Emails vs. Invalid Emails: Should I Switch?

You have to link a valid email address to your forum account mate. But it's not necessary when registering, you can just make up something and add @gmail.com and later on decide to change it to a valid one. The reason be that if you loss access to your account, you will need the email linked to your account to help you recover it and change to a new password.

If you do use a personal email address and don't want it to be public, you can turn it off on your forum account settings.  Its there on your profile..

Thanks for your nice opinion share with us. I myself created an account with a temporary email and later created a good email and set it up from the settings. It was great that when changing, the email could be changed very easily.

Well it all depends on what you really want, you can decide to switch to a valid email or you can decide to leave it in an email that is invalid however there's consequences that comes with it, if maybe you have forgotten your password you need a valid email to change it to a new password if you don't have a valid email then you can never have a solution, so it is very important you use a valid email, you are a newbie and having a valid email address may not be okay with you but as time goes on you will see the need but pray it's not too late by then, so please use a valid email address now to avoid having issues that can't be solved in the future.
And again some set of people in this forum try to hack account here sometimes so when something like that wants to happen you will get a notification on your email but if you don't have a valid email that is linked to this your account the message won't come to you meaning your account can easily be hacked.
