I personally never suggest doing business in partnership, as this breaks your relationship with your loved ones. People will never be delighted with the result, no matter how much effort you put in or how dedicated you are. If you manage the business and anything bad happens, your partner will always end up blaming you. Of course, there are also some positive aspects. However, I don't want to ruin my relationship with my friends over a business matter.
There are numerous examples where partners relied too heavily on each other and ultimately betrayed one another. Additionally, there are instances where the partner remained honest, but the other partner blamed them. To avoid these issues, it is best to avoid partnering with people for a business.
I totally agree with that. Businesses started in partnerships have more cons than pros, and the cons can easily overshadow the pros in this case. The only pro that I can think of about partnering up with someone for a business is that it allows you to have a 50% share in both, the capital and the workload that you will have to manage alone otherwise, but still, I think it's not worth it, if you can afford to start a business or your own, don't look for partners only because you want to split the workload because things won't end well.
Having friends or relatives as partners is the worst idea, but even having strangers or other businessmen as partners is also a bad idea. When you start a business with someone else, you can't do whatever you want with the business, because now there are two brains, two owners, two decisions and mindsets, and believe me, even if you try your best, there will be conflicts at one point, and those conflicts will ruin the whole business. So, it's not worth it, at all.
