Whoever owns the early BTC deserves a Nobel Prize in delayed gratification. - Elon Musk

What do you think? I believe honestly it does make sense, and he has a point as well. Just imagine the situation during Bitcoin creation; there was just zero adaptation. Most people don't trust it and criticise it. But only a few people mined or bought Bitcoin in such a situation. There wasn't much social media to reach more people; the condition was really complicated if you compare it to now. I really appreciate their patience and convictions for Bitcoin. If there were any categories for financial patience and conviction, then early Bitcoin holders should get the Nobel Prize.

Do you believe something should happen like this, or are Bitcoin holders already rewarded due to the current Bitcoin price?

Knowledge about money is hidden, economics schools and faculties are not educational institutions, but rather centers of indoctrination.Where people are indoctrinated to believe that money can only be fiat currencies, that inflation is necessary, and that new money must come from debt. And that if there were no inflation and no debt-based money from banks, the entire economy would collapse and the world would come to a halt. The idea that money must come from debt and that inflation is necessary was developed and popularized by an economist . John Maynard Keynes.
Besides Keynesianism, there is the Austrian School, which views money as sound, opposes inflation and debt-based creation, and supports free markets with minimal government intervention.Opponents of the Keynesian system include Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek, If someone had read these authors, they would have had deeper knowledge and a better understanding of money, and would have known about ideas predicting something like Bitcoin even 100 years earlier

It’s all about knowledge and education , if someone is better educated and has a deeper understanding, they  understand Bitcoin much more than others.Even today, there are many people who still don’t fully understand Bitcoin, even though they use it.People who understood Bitcoin earlier were more educated and well-read They don’t need a Nobel Prize, they are already rewarded because they have a higher IQ and are much smarter than others.

I understand it as a metaphor, a hyperbole, because there is no Nobel Prize for delayed gratification. But yes, we have discussed it many times. People think: I wish I had bought bitcoin at $1 or $0.20. What they don't think about is that many of those who bought then sold when they made a little profit. Some even sold at a loss when there was a big downturn. Those who were able to hold on to their HODLing for many years since that time when no one knew if bitcoin would go to zero, if there would be a global ban, or if it was just another scam, have already been sufficiently rewarded with huge profits.
