How can we avoid addictions in gambling?

The problem is the propensity for addiction. Some people easily become addicted to something; it's physiological, not psychological. In this case, it's harder to avoid addiction without avoiding gambling. For these types of people, it's best not to do it.

I agree with this, if one wants to avoid the issue of addiction, then one must control one's gambling and gamble responsibly.
But if you cannot manage gambling responsibly, then you should completely give up gambling, there is no other way.
The issue of gambling is very tempting, people get addicted very easily here, if you cannot control yourself strictly here it is better to stay away from it.
Gambling is not the only thing for entertainment, we can enjoy a lot of entertainment even without completely abstaining from online, all we need is the right mindset.

You are very correct when one sees gambling as a source of income or livelihood he will become addicted easily however when you see gambling as something you do in order to be happy then it will not become addictive because is just for fun just the way we do other things for fun for example playing football and watching movies that is the same way one use to gamble in order to have fun and not for source of income if you put gambling as something that you want to use to become wealthy or rich then surely you will get yourself into a financial crisis.
If anyone wants to make money he should look for a job or start up a business gambling is not something we use to become rich or wealthy, yes one can make money from gambling but don't see it as a source of income just see it as a fun thing you do and may get money out of it, what should interest you in gambling is not the money in it but how good you are in your prediction and that is why I say if you want to gamble do it in the sport you enjoy watching it will be fun.

One of the things I know that cause addiction is time, having time for anything gets you addicted but if you decide not to feed it attention you already half way gone in coping with the addiction or avoiding it, discipline is not always easy when you have no one that can make decisions for you, it only takes time to get used to your disciplines but just starting is always difficult. Another solution I've learnt is getting addicted to something that is proven productive, like finding a new hobby that can be monetized in the end product that if you get addicted to it it will only make you even more successful that you will never remember gambling but only do it at will.

I like the way you described and explained this problem. There is a reason why there is a saying "Idle mind is devil's playground". A lot of evil things,addiction included, can stem from not keeping our minds busy and focused.

Right! the problem is not always being less busy or not having something to do but having to spend the time on trying to become rich over night sends a lot of us down the wrong way, for instance if you've got no job or have more time instead of gambling or visiting a casino, you visit an educative centre or a creative ground where just merely looking can develop some sense of wanting to be creative too that exactly a better solution to some gamblers addiction.

Small exposure is harmful to individuals that are potentially addicted to it. However, responsible gambling can only be effective should one have a control over it but when he/she does not, the best policy is not to fall into it at all. The ways of entertainment and fun without gambling are numerous, and a person can enjoy his life without damage to a bad habit. Gambling has been in an existence long time ago and it has always been fun all the way. Many people got involved in gambling just to have fun while some other people see it as there own way of expressing passion for games, sporting bet etc. however gambling that was initially made for fun and excitement later became a major problem to humanity due to addiction that has lead to the down fall of many young people that got involved in gambling.

All these can only be controlled by you; no one will be able to advise you on how to go about your gambling or betting because when you are winning in gambling, you will never complain about addiction until you are constantly losing money. Gambling should be for fun, but some people take it as their means of earning money, so they will surely make money from gambling, which is why they are addicted.

They want to make a huge amount of money from gambling, which is why they are always hopeful of making it big; therefore, they will keep playing no matter how they are losing in the game.

Rich people don’t get addicted to gambling that much because they bet for fun, and they are not greedy; they only get in teams they support or believe in, not for bigger odds and quick money. Average people are betting or gambling to make money; that’s why they will get addicted to gambling because they have to make money through gambling.

I think whether a gambler will become addicted to gambling or not depends entirely on the gambler. Gambling should be played in such a way that a gambler does not become addicted to this game. That true, and because of this it is also advised  that a gambler needs to have a gambling time table which will guide them on when to gamble and when not to gamble. Some people forget that they have other important things to do with their time and they spend important time on gambling and forget about what was more important to do but if the person has a gambling time table, it will help them to be guided in their gambling sessions and will also prevent addiction.

You've just said my mind, those who spend all day gambling are idle people who want to get rich through gambling cause if one has a job or important things doing then they'll know when to gamble and when not to. Research have it that people who spend majority of their time on gambling platforms are most likely to be addicted and it's very true cause the more attention you give to gambling the more it would likely become a habit and then get the person addicted, although i don't fully buy the idea of a timetable cause the gambler would devote particular times to it and do it very often which cam still become a habit, the best time to gamble is during leisures.

It actually depends, mate, if the person has a time table of gambling it tells them how many time they have to gamble in a week or month and also how many hours they must spend on the session. For example, if I have a time table where I have written that I can only gambler for 1 hour  every fridays and saturdays, that means I won't have to gamble any other day except these two days and I will not also have to exceed 1 hour.
