Bybit P2p AI assistant; end to scammer vendors?

Human error must have been contributing to people keep falling victims to these scams. There are some obvious red flags that we tend to ignore maybe because we do not know they are red flags, or perhaps too tired mentally to observe and take note of them. With Artificial intelligence, because those red flags are set by default, scammers will have a hard time continuing their p2p scams  because they will be detected by the system. I hope other exchanges adopt it and also that we remember to ask for its assistance when doing p2p.

I don't know why all of a sudden we are happy with this development. The Bybit exchange have one of the worst customer support. They barely attend to their customers, now they want AI to assist, will AI comes to the rescue when there is dispute, 100% of time Bybit exchange is the reason why the scammers have this altitude of doing these things. You hardly see such things going on in other exchanges, even if there is they are not many.

I checked out the AI after OP drop this topic; the AI assistant will not interfere in trade dispute, it doesn't act as a mediator, it only helps in navigating and choosing the best ads using your " query " input and also helps In summarizes vendors terms and conditions since most of us do not even pay attention to some of these things and end up getting I trouble.

Every vendors it recommends, it summerizes their terms and conditions at the top of it ads so you know what to expect. If you have a trade dispute, the customer supports are there to help. They've been good recently.

This p2p AI assistant is a very good protective mechanism to reduce scammers and I must confess it's very good. Although I have not used it to search for the best Marchant but I believe it will be good. I have know cex AI to only support customer for things that can be easily solved without involving a live agent, but this one will be good since it's working based on customers review and rating. But even as we are using AI to search, we should be careful. The only problem is that the price of the best Marchant will be very low compeard to the average customer. For example the Marchant you search for yourself may be buying at #1540 while the best one AI will find for you may be buying at #1500 and in some situation #40 is a huge amount when Lost in quantity. Lest say we are selling $5k, which will be #40 ×5000 =#200,000 loss so even as we are using  this AI to search, we can sometimes find buyers who will offer higher to avoid loss expecialy in Lage numbers of USDT.

It's better low and safe than you looking for higher price bid and get scammed on the process, Then what's your benefit?
Since I have been using the filter option button to select merchants and combining it with the total number of successful trades, the merchant account has completed, and dealing with verified merchant that has a rating from 90% completed trades, It all has been good, I don't care about the rate and a situation that my funds will get released when I haven't received my funds or it enter dispute.

But the spillage or spread isn't going to get as wide as #40 since after CBN and Breu De Change operator saga.
It was before we used to have all this kind of price difference.

This is a very good initiative from Bybit cause they are gradually losing a lot of customers as a result of the level of repeated scam in their platform, the introduction of AI assistant will help to eradicate or reduce the rate of scam if traders focus on using the recommend vendors.

Pros: traders will encounter smooth trades and they will not  want to stop using the exchange again due to fear of getting scammed. There will be reduction of scammers because no one will be willing to trade with them if they are not being recognized as genuine vendors.

Cos: There will be slow payments in p2p transaction if the number of genuine vendors are small, scammers will also find a way to get recognized by the AI so that they can continue their scams unless they will be permanently banned from being a vendor in the exchange.

The feature might well be in response to scam allegations against most of BYBIT vendors, it would sure bring a some improvements, probably a guide to newbies and a reminder to the vendors that their integrity matters. As we know, even AI can make mistakes, more reason we should never lower our guard and still maintain every security practices we know to ensure we are not exploited by these scammers posing as vendors.

In the issue of paying less, I must mention that there might be cases of innocent mistake and when the vendor is notified, they apologize and complete your money, such you may forgive and not give a bad review, but on the case of those vendors that you call to order and they start negotiating, validating they were intentional in their actions, those you can part with your negative review.

Something comes to mind about these mistakes in payment, I have never seen any vendor that overpaid and pleading for refund, they always underpay which sparks suspicion if these are really honest mistakes, even for those I am making excuses for??

I just sold 6usdt now while using this AI assistant, honestly speaking this is the fastest p2p trade I have ever done while using bybit p2p, I just clicked on the AI assistant and type best buyer with a minimum of 5k naira, and two options pop out, I choose the first, in lest than a minute, I was credited, i confirm and released the coin, smooth and easy, truly a nice initiative from bybit.

That first day I saw this thread I didn't saw it in my bybit, it was the next day my own appeared.

Yes, I later tested the bot yesterday and it was good. You can even easily use it to know someone that is ready to buy 1000 naira worth of coin from you.

It would be good if Bybit can also add the feature to their filter. I mean if you want to buy or sell a coin of 10000 naira, you should be able to use filter to do that also. It is not yet present on Bybit.

Na welcome idea from bybit this go assist to reduce those scammers wayh di use high attractive exchange rate use lure ignorant newbies into going to trade with them and finally get scammed either say them no go pay money complete or them go click paid whwn them never transfer money.

Di cons be say naw traders way wan sell coins go want quickly the trust merchant onto as na AI select am for them na the correct trader and this feat make traders deh vulnerable as time goes make some smart merchants run them street. Unlike now wayh as e be manual every trader deh conscious and careful weder na  somebody with bad intention them di trade with.

Further, AI no be perfect computer e still deh bulner to jack and smart group fear hack am use am Syphon funds in a professional manner.

Pros be say now P2P trading go dey more efficient for bybit onto as di AI feat assess your account trading history and know which trader suit your type of merchant, because e get merchant way too deh delay to execute transaction and di ones with too much trading ads rules way you feat no like am.

I tested this but not to the end because the price per unit of the first merchant it brought up was too low and at then, I didn't have the luxury of time to go through it thoroughly. However, I like the reviews that I am reading on this thread and the next time I want to do it, I will find a time when I am not in a hurry. What is the worse that this AI feature can do? It is what comes to my head as we are innocently using it. Anyways the main advice is to remember, no your keys, not your coins.

Of course, Bybit has the best customer service. When we go to trade on p2p, we look for the best trader with whom there is no chance of being cheated. But many times we do not find a good trader manually and even if we find one, it turns out that we were wrong to trust the trader. In this case, we are sometimes cheated.
Bybit has currently released the AI bot you mentioned, which reviews the positive and negative aspects of many investors and traders and presents to us which trader is really good and the risk is much lower when trading with them. Again, this AI bot can also help us by providing information about those who have risks when trading with them.
Undoubtedly, this is one of the best tools of Bybit.

Could the Bybit p2p AI trade assistant be the end of those p2p scammer vendors? This AI assistant gives you the best two vendors with better ratings for your trade using your history check. This way you don't have to manually navigate your way through the thousands of ads out there. For those newbies without idea on how to choose a good vendor manually, this could be what you need so you don't choose a scammer vendors.

I think this bybit AI assistant tool is a smart innovation made by the company becuase it could be of a big help to beginners and those who usually don’t know or care enough to study how to filter out scammers and ungenuine vendors who come to the platform with ill intentions by automatically removing them from the filtered selection based on their ratings and past trading history which helps to reduce one’s chances of falling into some obvious scams. Having said that, we no go still conclude say this assistive tool will bring a complete end to scammer vendors but will surely reduce your exposure to them.

Why I said it wont completely end it is because we’ve still got some scammers who might try to manipulate their ratings make fake transactions or even try to be on the good book of the AI machine so they get recommended by the tool to more clients before they pull a big scam off the system. What I will also advise others especially the newbies in the CEX community to learn how to manually vet vendors themselves without having to rely too much on the assistant tool because it is not 100% accurate with it’s judgement but works with the parameters set by the developers which could be bridged by smart or persuasive scammers (there are different YouTube videos and articles on the internet that will be of great help to you).

 I also heard of the begging vendors who try to manipulate people into selling below their orders yet these guys hold good ratings in yhe system. Please if you’re a victim of such things, do well to report this person so they dont end up taking advantage of the medium to defraud other innocent people out there. I will also encourage bybit to announce such warnings and disclaimers boldly as they work towards improving their security and performance. Well done to the developers of this new AI assistant tools.
