Kindly pardon if this query appears 'infantile'!
I am a fairly new user.
How does one go about bumping up the fee after the transaction
had been transmitted to the network?
The provided right-click link does not appear to work!!
Please help.

The question is valid (not infantile) since something that should work isn't working.

But please describe how it doesn't work.
Was the button unclickable? Have you ticked "Enable rbf" when sending the transaction?
In the transaction's details (R-Click->Show Details), what does the transaction input's Sequence's value?

Anyways, IMO bumping isn't necessary.
Because even sub 1sat/vB transaction are being mined right now, yours should be fine unless you set it at the lowest possible fee that some miners accept.
