Questions about Vnish

Hello all,

My first question is, which website is the official website that anyone interested in Vnish should visit? I've seen several websites claiming to be the official Vnish website and it's kind of sketchy, I just want to be sure.

My second question and more importantly, does Vnish use the same CGMiner API format that stock Antminer firmware and several other third-party firmwares use?

Any help would be much appreciated.

For the most part, yes it does tho they've added switches for their code.
Along that line, Vnish violates the cgminer open-source GPL. Vnish is a hacked version of cgminer. They hacked the code and made their version of it closed source.

I downloaded Vnish firmware from many sites that call themselves official.
The Devfee percentage varies everywhere. I downloaded the firmware with 2.8% Devfee from the site https://vnish.pro
On other sites that claim to be official, the percentage is much higher, sometimes reaching up to 7%

Whomever you get it from can charge the fools who download it whatever they want to. Vnish sets no fixed price.

i will also install vnish instead of braiins on my new s21+ machine
this software is very hard to get as it would only be available through distributors and you should know one here

It's Vnish.com, and don't expect to receive any lower rates just because you downloaded from the "official website" you are going to get the same rate.

I doubt the 2.4%, though; the fee is more so variable depending on a few things, but it's anywhere between 2.2% and 2.8%. The agreement says so, and obviously you are more likely to be paying the 2.8% than the 2.2%.

If you want to go Vnish, you may as well just get the AwesomeMiner distribution. I don't know if that changed or not, but in the past, if you used their distribution, you could use the software for free. Awesome Miner is a perfect all-in-one monitoring and management tool, which I personally use.
