I get the impression that there's something fishy going on at Best Wallet too: the messages on X or Trustpilot aren't very reassuring ... (There are two new 5-star reviews on Trustpilot ... Which doesn't take anything away from the other disastrous reviews)

I noticed them adding positive reviews for their Chrome app. It looked ridiculous when during an hour several similar posts were maid. Just paid comments, nothing more

On Trustpilot, a website that has hundreds of reviews will not suddenly be swayed by two 5-star reviews. It takes more than that to game the system, and trustpilot usually bans people for review botting.

In any case, you don't want to be in a position where only a few people know about your service and it already has bad reviews.

They probably need to be seized by law enforcement at this point.

FRWT are known for paying a lot for their reputation. I noticed many websites delete negative Freewallet reviews or post their some positive but not real ones.
Sitejabber, Reddit, Medium, Quora - I'd prefer to trust these resources (if not mention Bitcointalk, of course)

Sorry to hear that, but as you know I dont provide any kind of services, I am just a usual person as you are.
Seems like today there are way less FRWT clients then earlier. It's very good, because people won't lose coins. But it also means that there will be not many complaints about this fraud.

The scammers at Freewallet are making impossible requests, even after I provided everything they asked for. They said:

"Please send us unedited, non-cropped, full-screen (desktop, not mobile) screenshots from the sending platforms as proof of the source of funds, and provide documents that confirm the services rendered."

Despite telling them hundreds of times that I cannot provide what they are asking for—and that I have already sent everything I do have—they keep insisting. I explained to them:

"All I ask from my clients is a screenshot for translation purposes, after which I provide the services they requested, such as creating websites, databases, or other projects."

I also told them:

"I did not create contracts or documents because I was not experienced in such matters. There is only one client who agreed to make a contract with me after you requested it. Most clients refuse because they paid with crypto and don’t really know me personally."

Thats a typical story...
Many different quests... Its just a way to waste your time!
You shouldnt trust them... If any service wants to help clients, its administration HELPS, not IGNORES!

Another post by a victim. The same scheme again. If I wanted, I could find hundreds of similar screenshots. But my goal in this case is just to warn potential clients: Freewallet will steal your coins!

Looks like there are very few new victims of FRWT fraud.
It's a good thing.
But the bad is that many clietns still couldnt withdraw coins.
If some of them read this message and are planning to make official crime reports:
The more diverse and well-documented your sources are, the more weight your case will carry in court. Let me know if you need help organizing or verifying any of this information — I’d be happy to assist.

Another victim with another story

Late 2018 i stopped mining and my freewallet account has been empty ever since.
On March 31 2025 i wanted to use Freewallet to exchange some ETH so i send 1 ETH into Freewallet but they don't let me take it out anymore.
Demanding impossible screenshots from 2018 transactions to unlock my account. But the miningpool is not alive anymore so there is no place for me to log on and get these screenshots.
It's total nonsense because i just want my 1ETH that i have send in freewallet last week. The 2018 ETH is not even in Freewallet for years anymore.

This is just a quote form a user's story. No way to withdraw coins. I am sure this is just another case of Freewallet scam

That so evil of them, but we shouldn't get surprised anyway. Scammers don't care about anything except the money they take from you. How are such services allowed to even operate in the first place?

The so-called regulators are so quick to sanction, seize and shutdown crypto privacy tools that are not scam but are very reluctant to do the same to scammers that keep stealing from the people for years.

It reminds me of when I was trying to close a bank account and the bank kept adding fees so I could never close it. Luckily it ended up after a few weeks. In your case it's completely on another level since you can't get your ETH back, what a nightmare!  Shocked

Hi everyone,
Freewallet.org suspended my account without any explanation. I completed full identity verification (KYC) as requested, and they even scheduled a call — but then they went completely silent.
My support ticket has been ignored for several weeks, and my funds are still locked. My follow-up emails have led nowhere.
They hide behind Indonesian arbitration and Terms of Use that allow them to ban users without cause.

If you’ve been affected too — please speak up and share your story. Let’s make this public.
I’m currently preparing complaints to consumer protection authorities in the EU and reaching out to journalists and crypto investigators.
We can’t let them keep scamming users — if you’re affected too, don’t stay silent.

This company is still ignoring my emails and continues to take inactivity fees from my balance.

For those who are new to this thread, here’s a quick summary of my situation:

I created a GitHub account and started offering my services as a developer.

This company locked my account due to KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.

I provided everything they asked for: documents, a Skype call, and proof of the source of my funds — so the KYC process was fully completed.

However, the company (which I now call Freescammers) kept demanding that I provide them with 20 contacts of people who bought my services. But this is not part of a real KYC process. My clients, who only know me through the internet, are not required to share their personal information with me — especially since they already paid with cryptocurrency.

Why did I use cryptocurrency?
As I mentioned at the beginning of this thread, I’m from Syria — a country with no online payment systems and severe restrictions due to U.S. sanctions. I’m sure most of you have seen the news.

Why did I use this specific wallet?
When I started researching wallets online, most of them rejected me because I’m from Syria. But Freescam... I mean this company claimed on their website that they accept users from any country. I was new to the world of cryptocurrency and had no experience at the time.

I worked hard every day for 3 years to earn and save that money. For once, I thought I could finally start living. I’ve lived through 14 years of war, and believe me, I’ve lost a lot. I know my life has been very different from most people reading this. But when this scam company stole from me, I honestly felt like giving up.

Thankfully, I have good people in my life who helped me get back on my feet and keep moving forward.

And one day — if I ever get the chance — I will sue this company, even if it’s the last thing I do in my life.

(ps: my English not very good i make chatgpt fix my English)
