Death of free speech in the US: arrested for running exit nodes

A newly surfaced case shows that a US citizen has been under arrest or probation in several cases all through 2020, with the initial issue being that he refused to cooperate with the FBI to decrypt TOR exit node data.

While not cooperating with the FBI isn't illegal in and of itself, the feds really threw the book on the man and are doing their best to ruin his life.

I feel so bad for Conrad. You're held against your own will and can't get access to a good lawyer because the one that should help you is refusing to and more or less acting under the influence of the judge who has stripped him of his constitutional rights!
 Conrad is a 100% disabled combat veteran for crying out loud and this shows that they don't really place much value on this guy's because I really don't see what he did wrong that they are trying to frustrate the life out of him.
 The right to freedom of speech has died else I don't see why Conrad Rockenhaus and his wife would be treated so unfairly just because they tried to speak up.
