On 4 April 2014 I received a shocking message from Bitstamp support notified me that my already verified account has been unverified due to previous verification documents are not up to their standard, and ask me to redo the verification. I go through some forums and discovered quite a number of Bitstamp users experience the same nightmare during the past few days.

Eventually I found out some folks received instructions from Bitstamp requesting certain actions, in which I have not yet received but I just followed these instructions and successfully get re-verified 1 day after I sent in new documents required.

So here is the quote of message sent by Bitstamp support:

[...] We would kindly ask you to submit a high resolution image of yourself holding your ID (the same ID used for your account verification) and "[date of submission] For Bitstamp LIMITED only" written on a piece of paper[…]

And I did the following:

-Both side of my ID card (so you have to take 2 pics)
-Passport, I just showed the same page for both pics
-A piece of paper with the date of sending in handwritten on it, for example: "7th April 2014 For Bitstamp LIMITED only"

Putting all those above beside my handsome face and take hi-res pics. Just don't get the text on those docs too blur, although the pics I've taken might have been only a little blur on the text.

-I got unverified and received the re-verification request on 4th April 2014 at night, without the above detailed explanation
-I sent in the above materials on 6th April 2014 afternoon
-I got re-verified on 7th April 2014 at night

So from submission to re-verification successful it took me around 1 day 3 hours.

Dudes, do the same if you still have BTC inside your account, hopefully helpful to you.
