Unfortunately, Venezuela is in the black book of the US because of Nicolás Maduro. Donald Trump is committed to a forceful change of government in the country under the pretence that he is fighting a drug war. But my fear is that the consequences of this war will be felt by people, just as we are seeing in Gaza, Ukraine and others.

Sadly, no president can oppose Trump, so all of them are silent as the preparation for the war gains momentum. The United Nations and other world powers are scared of Trump, so they have not openly made any move to persuade the US president to shelve this move. We might start hearing criticism when the war starts and people start suffering and dying.     

It is obvious that this proposed war is not for drugs sincee Venezuela contributes little to the movement of drugs to the US. Maybe the US wants to remove Maduro and replace him with a friendly president who would promote the agenda of the US.

Obviously people in Venezuela didn't ask Trump to be liberated, it wasn't their idea. Trump is about Trump's ideas, not the ideas of the surfs and peons. You know you live in a democracy when most of the implemented ideas come from people you've never heard of. When we the people are the leaders, there is democracy. When they the government are the leaders, there is tyranny. Who is your leader?

The evil dictators and evil dictator supporters can now tell me how many Venezuelans asked for their country to be blown up by the USA. I hope nothing happens because it is the people who will suffer. Nicolás Maduro might decide to keep fighting and flee to Moscow just like Assad. Trump cannot be predicted; he could declare an attack without any notice.

It is obvious that this proposed war is not for drugs sincee Venezuela contributes little to the movement of drugs to the US. Maybe the US wants to remove Maduro and replace him with a friendly president who would promote the agenda of the US.

Trump's real goal in targeting Venezuela and everything he does like imposing tariffs and attracting allies is to counter the rise of China, nothing more.

China is the world's factory and they can supply everything themselves but their weakness is that more than 70% of their oil and energy production has to be imported. Trump knows that.

Meanwhile, Venezuela is the country with the world's largest oil reserves and China is currently its biggest customer. Furthermore. that is also why he imposed a ban on two leading Russian oil companies (another major supplier to China). He believes only in that way can China become weak.

The real goal is to weaken China and only then can the US maintain its leading position for as long as possible.

1. Are people who support the US invasion many?

Not all people here support an invasion in order to get rid of Maduro, but there are considerable percentage of people who are willing to support any plan on the table so this dictatorship can be completely broken apart. So while the huge majority of people wants this dictatorship to end, not all of them are in for an invasion.

Mostly poor governance, this is a countrywhich is extremely corrupt, there are things which happen here which are completely barbaric and out of the limits of law. Bribery is the least of the problems here, people here can get thrown into prison and beaten up to death or forced to commit suicide, just because their political affiliation or protesting.

Juan Guaidó never run for the presidency in this country, he tried to establish and parallel government, but it was not enough.

You are right, it's about reserves and doing anything to turn attention away from Epstein files. Imagine Obama doing any of this. Neither republicans or democrats wouldn't stop shouting for months.

Also, i don't claim to understand how CIA covert operations work, but i am pretty sure that anyone isn't supposed to announce them beforehand. And this makes me think their covert operation, if that ever existed is already busted.

Both Russia and the United States have interest here, that is obvious, though the USA has more money, power and a bigger military to pressure in this region of the planet, that is not something which can be said about Russia.
They lost their influence in the Caribbean when the Union Soviet fell and Cuba had to face USA by itself, that is what is called "special period" there in the island.

This country is not in conditions of attacking anyone, our infrastructure is bad, we have cuts of gasoline supply in some urban areas, inflation is always rising and so on.
Guyana would the help of the English commonwealth could easily take our army down, I am very confident on Maduro does not want to attack anyone just wants to be left alone to continue to steal as much money as possible from the people of this country and from our oil production.
