As for those apps claiming to be mining apps they are all scam, so avoid them and  avoid being scam. If possible you can join a mining pool if you really want to be a miner.

That right. Usually, new users will search and read reviews from other users who have downloaded the app. Some are honest, and most of the users are from their team, with good reviews. In reality, our internet quota is drained, ads are incessant, and the battery is prone to rapid drain. So, it's better for OP to forget about it and look for other alternatives, like Staking coin, which is clearly a well-known exchange, because your goal is to make a profit.

A PC cannot mine bitcoin mate only ASICs like you mentioned in your post.

Bitcoin mining is very expensive to start because of the costly price of ASICs with high computing power and cost of electricity which is why I wouldn't think of mining bitcoin. The people that went into mining bitcoin in the early days of bitcoin were the ones that mined bitcoin easily but with the increased in difficulty target, mining is no longer for the poor or average man.
Why do you say a PC can't mine Bitcoin? That's not entirely true. If you have a powerful PC, you can mine many other coins and receive rewards in Bitcoin, stablecoins, and other coins of your choice.
In the Russian local mining board, other miners and I have compiled a list of such projects:

I don't understand you, I am talking about using PC to mine bitcoin which is impossible and not to mine shitcoin. From your above statement, it's clear that you are mining shitcoin and been reward with bitcoin. How does that prove that you mined bitcoin. I answered according to the OP and nothing more. You can even use android phone to mine shitcoins whether you are being rewarded in bitcoin or in shitcoin it doesn't matter.

Only ASICs machines are used to mine bitcoin currently.

Wrong. It is entirely true. Mining is adding effort to a coins ecosystem. Mining alts and being paid in BTC is in no way the same as mining Bitcoin.

You are just supporting an altcoin(s) and considering low the payout from using even a a high end PC and GPU rig you are literally just stacking Sats for the work done. As in all mining efforts, the main question is, does your return even pay for the power used?

Exactly. It is like buying some fried chicken from the street, visiting the nearest KFC, and saying, " I am eating KFC fried chicken. To start mining altcoins on a computer, anyone can do it with the Cryptotab browser. They mine XMR using the CPU or GPU and get paid in Bitcoin. This should not be called mining Bitcoin, even by a noob who doesn't know how to mine Bitcoin and how it works. You are just mining some altcoins and getting paid in Bitcoin.

Unminable has been doing this for a long time, and they have many users who mine altcoins and get paid in Bitcoin. I think Nicehash has been doing the same. But yeah, as long as people can get some money by keep running their browser or their system, it's good.

-snip-
is it really possible to mine Bitcoin using an Android phone?
-snip-
There's a simple answer to this.

NO!

Even the fastest GPU and Desktop computers are incapable of mining BTC

Anyone claiming they can mine BTC on a phone or low powered Microcontroller is selling you nothing but a scam.

If you're serious about wanting to mine BTC the easiest way is to get an entry level ASIC miner such as a Gekko Science compac F or one of the many BitAxe devices like the BitAxe Gamma

Entry level these days needs to ideally have performance in excess of 1TerraHash per second.

Please read this thread:- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2415854.msg24714338#msg24714338

I don't need to be told that mining on mobile phone is impossible, it is common sense. There is no mobile chips even in 2025 that can handle same power like we see in thread ripper Cpu or Asic miners, also those phone miners are lies, they work like cloud and that's why your phone is always cool when mining like Pie coin and others, many phone would have died if those mining algorithms use the phone CPU or GPU. It is just common sense...

Now, the only way that anyone can mine Bitcoin is through Asic miners, there is no way threadripper CPUs can mine Bitcoin today, not even the most powerful GPU like RTX 5090 can do anything, now compare the capability of these badass hardwares to that of smartphones, wake up to reality.

If you want to mine Bitcoin on CPUs and GPUs, you can use intermediary services that will mine other coins and pay you a reward in Bitcoins.

The services automatically switch your equipment to a profitable coin; you only need to ensure smooth operation and proper cooling for the equipment.

That is not possible at all you may see many apps offering it as those are scam which wait for you to upgrade to make more profit better don't fall for it
spend time by making your own research and learn more about how bitcoin works and mining works

NiceHash requires a KYC, but many services on the list operate without a KYC.

No, it is not possible to mine Bitcoin with an Android phone. Because if you know the basics of Bitcoin, then at least you know that mining Bitcoin requires a lot of complex mathematical solutions. The smartphones we have in our hands are not yet capable of doing such a task, and even with a normal computer, you will need a much larger and more powerful computing system. Mobile applications that claim that they mine Bitcoin are completely fake.

In my opinion, Bitcoin mining requires a large and specialized hash power, usually using ASIC devices designed specifically for mining. Therefore, Android phones generally cannot compete in terms of speed, even though it is true that some applications claim to be able to mine directly from phones.

I once asked my friend, and he said that most mining apps on phones are actually just simulations that share rewards from their servers. So, you are not really mining on the phone but rather sharing the rewards from large mining operations. If you just want to try and learn, you might try trusted mining apps, but don’t expect significant results. Also, be careful, as many are scams.

I’ve been in this field for nearly four months, but I still only know the basics—who would believe that? However, you really need to be cautious about mining with Android phones. Unless you have a lot of money and can buy many backup phones, it’s just not worth it.

Mining Bitcoin needs some equipment and mobile phone can't give you all that. You might use it but it is not advisable because you can't make a good profit from it. As Charles - Tim said, you have to acquire the manufactured machine ASIC to do the mining and it needs good electricity.

I've lost track of the number of times this kind of question has been asked and answered.

So, Let me say it one last time

YOU CANNOT MEANINGFULLY MINE BTC USING A LAPTOP,
MOBILE PHONE, HIGH END DESKTOP PC WITH THE LATEST GPU
OR ANY TINY LITTLE MICROCONTROLLER

Anyone saying otherwise is just selling snake oil.

You need an ASIC and a minimum hash rate of 1TH for SOLO and even at that rate the odds are tiny. For PPLNS and other per share mining a good hash rate and cheap electricity.

I hope thats clear enough!

Neither the hash rate gap, energy efficiency, nor electricity costs make it suitable. I quite agree with your statement.

Definitely impossible.  It really isn't possible.  Especially if you come across those apps and sites that tell you to invest in mining machines and all that, getting you profits of this and thatwithin a certain duration.  Just know it's hoax and a huge scam. Definitely a ponzi scheme.  Witness people fall victim,  even close relatives.  Your smart phones,  do not carry or have the capacity to mine bitcoin. You need specific machines or softwares for that and your smartphones definitely cannot accommodate any of those.

I hope that experienced people will correct the mistakes of the newbies. I think it is possible to practice some Bitcoin forum with an Android phone. But I think it is impossible to mine Bitcoin with a smartphone. However, if in the future more powerful technology is available for Bitcoin mining on our smartphones, then I think it will be good for us. However, it will not be an alternative to computers. Bitcoin is the best in terms of world-winning potential.

Only ASIC miners can mine Bitcoin; phones and even top CPUs or GPUs can't compete. Phone mining is just a scam.
