The poor economy of most countries is attributed to lack of skills and also corruption is a major obstacle to the development of a country. The citizens of the country try to live a good life, but the lack of resources in the country and the lack of efficient administration are more responsible for the increase in poverty in that country. Just because some countries are geographically poor it is not always right to blame the government for the economic decline of the country. How successful a country can be economically depends on the amount of resources. If a country has a lot of mineral resources, then with proper management that country can become a developed country but in most cases it is seen that the governments of the concerned countries do not do any effective work to eliminate poverty of the people.
In most countries with weak economies the governments are more corrupt, so they use criminals to retain power and want to retain power by intimidating the citizens. Creating skilled manpower through the development of the country's education system should be the main priority of a country's government so that an educated society is created which is most important for the development of a country. And to become economically strong, it should be the main responsibility of the country's government to educate the nation properly and use it for the development of the country.
Having educated and skilled citizens is very important for the development of every country because a skilled population creates innovation, creates room for creativity thereby leading to long term economic growth. The citizens are able to make reformed growth, improving the quality of life, creating better governance because its citizens are able to make good decisions and deliver better leadership.
With education and skills, citizens are able to swiftly adapt to technological changes and innovations thereby leading to greater productivity and maintaining long term economical growth, this also helps to empower them with more healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Well skilled and educated citizens are indeed a positive drive to sustainable economic development.
