There are good hackers and bad hackers, not all of them are bad, I really wish that there is a way we can see charts about how many security bounties have been successfully defeated on this forum, all we have is payment that's been paid out so far. If you are one of the good ones there is alot of money you can make via this forum @ Bitcointalk.org/sbounties.php

Gone are the days where hackers fight tirelessly with firewalls trying all day and nights to break them walls down, now all we have are fake hackers pretending to be real hackers and they are not even close to been one.

Out of 100 hackers it is only 1 that can really face the threat and put their knowledge at a test, today what we have are scammers, their major tool is to act so friendly because they have figured out that it is the weak point of many people.

A simple " how was your night" can make some people give total attention to strangers, whereas a single reply can lead to your digital assets or identity get stolen.

Alas, cybercriminals have changed tactics, today they don't need to break in through securities anymore, all they have to do is manipulate people into letting them in and the deal is done.

They hide behind fake apps, replacing the original with fake ones like your favourite crypto wallets, It is deceiving tactics.

They swap links and make you click on them in many various ways, email, PMs, websites, articles etc.

These scammers have taken advantage of how our brain works through social engineering by manipulating people into believing their lies just to make us act on what isn't true.

When imprisoned criminals gets released to be used for a warfare, violence is activated and primary mission will be liable to be compromised. Likewise, the thrill of success and personal interests can't make any good hacker. So anyone identified as hacker is described as intruders who's using their computing skills to gain access and extract informations or values from others out of their permissions is solely breaking the legal rights of the individuals from keeping their activities and data's private.

It doesn't matter if the hacker is being genuine or not because neither you or me could emphasis our trust on anyone (hacker). That's why you should align with genuine activities so that you don't even have to be justified or illegal indulgences before it creates avenues for legal prosecutions. I either don't support hackers who do evil neither do I prefer those who pretends to be good because trust can only be exergerated with no lifetime provable.
You may actually think the authorities operating in their so "legal" terms" in the name of "government" is actually to be trusted to have that "All reserved rights" to invade on individuals privacies unwarrantedly will make a good impact in an institution or society, but their motives will always remain best known within themselves.

There are good hackers and bad hackers, not all of them are bad,
Yes, the good hackers are called white hat hackers, while the bad ones are called black hat hackers.
According to the information I received from a friend 15 years ago, when he was interested in exploring the hacking space. He said the white hat hackers are first trained about how black hat hackers operate and later trained on how to overpower them.
I don't know if things still operate like that in the hacking space.

I really wish that there is a way we can see charts about how many security bounties have been successfully defeated on this forum, all we have is payment that's been paid out so far.
Based on how this forum respects user privacy, you cant get this information, which could expose their public address.

Gone are the days where hackers fight tirelessly with firewalls trying all day and nights to break them walls down, now all we have are fake hackers pretending to be real hackers and they are not even close to been one.
This still happens today, but in a different place and dimension. If you visit the Reddit community like r/ethicalhacking, or r/netsec, where there's hacker discussion and HackerOne, or Bugcrowd, you'll see a lot of hackers who are fighting tirelessly for project/exchange vulnerabilities rewards.

Not all hackers are bad. There are ethical and non ethical hackers. What separates them is how they handle flaw that they are able to notice and exploit against the system. So literally speaking being a hacker doesn't automatically make you a villain.

~snip
Pulling of those major attacks you see there on the bounty list ain't gonna be as easy as you think. The forum has a lot of backings at the back door and it's why you see such huge bounty. That aside, anyone looking for a flaw to exploit will not come here to expose all his progress suddenly.

The forum is not 100% accurate, so far no forum has reached that percentage of accuracy but the developers of the forum has put in so much effort that you can barely spot out a bug. I remember joining the forum, and tried to sort for bugs but honestly I tried till I got tired.

Of course, there are smart people, who are not aware of the forum but their knowledge can be very useful. Weve seen lots of developers in the forum that made solid contribution to the forum in the technical aspect. As of now, most of them were useful to add ( provide tools to access the forum core easily) but not able fixed anything yet.
