Primary purpose for marriage

In the past, marriage was often viewed as a necessity for starting a family and ensuring financial security for both husband and wife. While in many cultures, marriage was also a way for individuals to gain social status and fulfill religious or cultural obligations. Standards are different between different cultures. There are many societies where marriage isn't a necessity to have a partner to live with.

That was the main purpose of marriage to integrate the people, marriage was designed by the creator for companion and unity.  Husband and wife were to rise and teach their children the value and nrms for the society for continuity and love.

But today the story is different, marriage is not long necessary among young people,  people are scared for marriage then anything these days.  Because of so many divorce cases. You guys that are in their 30 are not longer interested in marriage and they're not bothered. Marriage institution has lost value and it will be hard to recover, marriage people are getting married for business.

At times I ask myself if child bearing is the primary aim of marriage.  if it is, then what will happen to those marriage without children but I still can not find the answers till date.
From my own point of view i see marriage as a union between two mature people for companionship, every other things attached and also for reproduction if one is favour by God. Children are blessings from god and is not supposed to be The reason behind failed marriages if not favoured by god  but some believe every marriage must have fruit of the womb which is not supposed to be so.

Yeah is the most important thing for some people in there marriage while some do not see it that way but instead keeping it as there secondary desire whereby if it comes it gives them happiness if it doesn't they still have there happiness and lived all the days of there lives cherishing there love as if it was when they started everything. There could be a lot of reasons why people would take it as there primarily goal because some persons would use the fact that there parents only have them as there only child and nobody else so they believed having a child should be very important so that it wouldn't be him alone.
